  1. Fitterer did the worst GM job that I've ever seen. He was atrocious.
  2. He is speaking like he doesn't know what the future holds, and like a lot of things are up in the air, including his presence in Carolina. He's not saying that he wants to go somewhere else, but realizes the reality of his and this franchises situation. If anything, he's just saying the right things which a pro's pro is going to do.
  3. Good grief. We don't know the coaches or the personnel, but if you were to ask me today, I'd say 3-14 with five wins being our ceiling.
  4. So true, and it's super frustrating. He floats balls way too much (which may be because of his arm, misjudging the speed of the game, or maybe an inability to see the field completely) and he does it on a regular basis. That's not going to fly in the NFL. It will ultimately lead to easy turnovers.
  5. Bryce doesn't even look legit, so just about anyone young QB you can name, including Howell, appears to be a better option.
  6. QBs do not make receivers or vice versa. It's a symbiotic relationship. I knew who Collins was as well as Tank Dell. Collins was bound to break out with a decent QB. They also have a decent TE (which we probably do not).
  7. Bienemy has called some nice plays today. Howell has missed badly. He looks like a backup.
  8. I don't know, but I want a new LT, a new center and a new guard.
  9. Bryce sucked! The O-line sucked! I watched all the damned games. The O-line does not get a pass.
  10. Most in NFL history. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article283646068.html
  11. Luvu should get a good payday, but not top money.
  12. Does it matter? No one should apologize for being hopeful. For anyone that saw this train wreck, here's a cookie: But it's far from anything worth celebrating.
  13. From skeptically optimistic to thoroughly pessimistic within a month's span.
  14. For me, if Tepper has the courage to hire Jim Harbaugh, all will be forgiven.
  15. I can appreciate Tepper's strong desire to win. I still believe that he's going to do everything in his power to do that, but he's going to have to step out of his own pay. That being said, I think that hiring Jim Harbaugh would go a long way towards showing that Tepper understands that he needs to get out of the way.
  16. Honestly, with the current state of the team, that's not saying much. I'm all for keeping Burns at a price point commensurate with potential production based upon his track record.
  17. Derrick Brown should alternately tell them to kiss his keister.
  18. I disagree. I think we need to fix the O-line and upgrade some weapons. I've often said that I'd rather get veteran O-lineman in FA. That's the only way you really know what you're getting. Seasoned big uglies, and young (maybe even brash) offensive talent in the draft. The thing is, you really can't ignore the BPA and expect things to go your way very smoothly.
  19. I can't take anything from Michelle Smallmon. Sometimes she makes the most sense, but Canty is the most compelling IMO.
  20. A lot of people hate that idea, but I think we'd see benefits from day one.
  21. You're right. Their absolutely is a distinction between the owner and the man---the football and everything else. I think that it's very appropriate to discuss his terrible decisions in reference to the team's play on our main board. The other stuff is more appropriate for the TB.
  22. Caping? I've called Tepper on his poo, but I'm not about to call him a POS, or anyone else, just because they had business dealings gone wrong, purposefully mispronounced a man's name or threw a drink on someone who was likely taunting. That's the problem with most dumbasses in this country, they seemingly don't know how to discriminate between bad reactions on a personal level and bad intentions on a greater social, cultural or societal level. The two aren't the same. I don't care how you try to manipulate your penchant for strawman fallacies, I'm not going to refer to Tepper as a POS, and frankly I think that it's borderline sociopathic to call a person a POS over a business dealing gone wrong, a decidedly mild response to likely being taunted or even lesser reactions. We have enough instances of real bad deeds, intentions, and results of inhumane behavior in this world to discern the true nature of true evil. And furthermore, there is literally nothing you can say to make me believe that this thread is appropriate for this forum.
