  1. I was told on bad authority that Kelce was done...
  2. Because Burrough is a better QB with superior weapons.
  3. At this point, your Lamar hate is obvious.
  4. I agree about Mahomes, but it's a team sport.
  5. He can't run, throw, and block too. Jackson has been the main reason they're moving the ball at all
  6. Whatever. I'll tell you like I told Kunfoodude, y'all ain't the only ones that watched the game. And, yes, I watched every single play of the season.
  7. You may be right about Corral. I still hate the way things went with him. He got a taw deal.
  8. Mingo is not a belly catcher, and neither is Chark. If you like, look at the vid beginning at about the 16 minute mark. https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/232373-wr-room-overhaul/?do=findComment&comment=6410806 You guys need to stop making things up just to make Young look better than he was. He needs to get better, which is the whole point.
  9. The level of toxicity is the stuff that should lead to documentaries. Other than of course the then Redskins, I can't think of one that would be more interesting. The Eagles and the Pedersen era (also including Reich) would probably be pretty interesting. The Harbaugh exit from the 49ers would be good. Out of all the stories, ours may have most directly affected the product on the field.
  10. Possession receivers are still in the modern NFL. What in the world? Hell, Tee Higgins is a possession receiver. Mike Evans is a possession receiver. Puka Nacua is a possession receiver. Come on, man. Just because WE need a quick twitch route runner with some speed does not negate the skills of the other receivers in the room. And some guys are just better at certain things than others. For example (and I've said it before), Tee Higgins is like a jump ball god that makes 50-50 throws into 75-25. As for Mingo, he has pluses and minuses, but he's still developing. It's a wonder that he put up 400 yards in such an awful offense in his rookie season. This is not to say that he'll ever be a WR1 or 2, but I find it incredulous that you're writing him off so soon as an NFL-caliber receiver, particularly considering the circumstances.
  11. Just keep in mind that my issue is not that you are saying that Mingo will never be a WR1 or even a high end WR2, my issue is that you called him a bust and not an NFL-level receiver. I would hardly call myself a Mingo fanboi, but I think he can be an effective possession receiver if developed. If you like, look at the vid beginning at about the 16 minute mark.
  12. His role with us would be dealing with contracts and negotiations.
  13. By the way, you aren't the only one that watched the games.
  14. You're right. It's not close. You're off base.
  15. No rookie would have thrived here, but some rookie would've showed something enough not to have damned-near the worst rookie year in NFL history. Reich and others were babying the prized overall first pick for a reason. Bryce showed basically nothing. Even when he had clean pockets, he overthrew many passes but short ones which have skewed his stats to look better than they are at first glance. I asked my son who is highly critical of the Panthers---to the point of labelling me and other fans as apologists over the years--whether he thought Bryce was a bust. To my surprise, he said, "Not yet." But, he also said that Bryce's ceiling is limited and limiting to the team overall (meaning that we'll probably never win a ring with Young at the helm). He said that all the talk of Mini Mahomes, Drew Brees or Russell Wilson is crazy and that he never wants to hear it again. LOL But back to your point, I'm not even arguing that Bryce doesn't deserve an opportunity to retain his status as the starter behind an improved O-line and with better weapons at his disposal.; what I am saying is that he needs some young legitimate competition to play behind that same O-line with better weapons.
