4.74! That is Soooolooooooooooooooooooooow. He better be able to do a good Anquan Boldin impression.

No way in hell.

Hardy still gonna get paid though. Say what you want, but dude may end up the luckiest guy alive from a money standpoint.

Exactly what I was thinking. There is more overreaction to a muted reaction this year than I have ever seen. It surely makes me put some people under a microscope. They're lost and don't know what to do, so they create threads and post based on ghosts of yesteryear.

Panthro's thread reminded me of this one. I said, "Bump it! What the hell!"

Spiller with huge holes is kind of a scary thought.

It's rumored that there is a soft market for Murray's services at the 7-10 million range, but don't be surprised if a team like Jax swoops in at the last moment.

I hope that's not an omen

A few days ago, the Browns beat writer, Tony Gross I, said them signing Shits was slim. I suppose that's still a real chance though Damned auto correct and small keys.

I told you guys weeks ago that It would be stupid for G-man to wait until the last minute to sign someone that he wants. And I was right. -

He has a 5.1 career YAC. That is good people. Stop worrying about his speed. Denarius Moore will fix that. -

Shorts is the epitome of a bargain. Injuries are really his only legitimate knock. -

You win for the post if the day. -
Well, that is not necessarily what I am hearing. For the most part, I hear sensible people discussing philosophy. Sure you have people with that sentiment, but then you have people on the other end of the spectrum trying to inject that sentiment into the discussion by their immediate overreaction to normal discussion. I swear it seems like a Pavlovian exercise around here sometimes.

Of course he is.

It's not all black and white, Scot. Pardon the pun. Just like I expressed in another thread, team building is fluid. Even BB spent some money on Moss, and the Ravens spent some money on Boldin. The only reason that we can't make those types of moves now is because we have too many holes and not enough money. The Pats should have eon a championship, and the Ravens did win one. Both organizations were really no worse for the wear for making a free agent splash after it was all said and done. You just have to know where you are from an organizational standpoint---personnel wise, cap wise, contracts wise, on and on---and you have to know what you're doing. If you're close, think that the FA is the best option, or replacing another big name FA, then sometimes it makes sense to pull the trigger. Hell, Revis just helped the Pats win another ring.

I can just here someone saying that about Olsen five years ago.
-
Who do you expect to be signed?
-
Isn't it obvious? They are making a championship push.

If the Panthers were just a little better, maybe the league would think of us as serious contenders like they obviously believe the Colts are. It is imperative that we get an LT that's worth a damn, and Cam some legit weapons. We have a defense good enough to do it, minus a couple of pieces perhaps, but no one takes our offense seriously (particularly our receiving corps).
