  1. The "basics?" I mean, we already know the basics. I'm sure that we can put her name on some of those sites (even without paying) and learn who her family members might be, where she lived (or lives) and all that stuff.
  2. What about a 3rd pick? Some NFL asshole intimated that Burns was only worth a 3rd pick which is likely the reason for her post from the get-go
  3. That's not true at all. The Internet is a cesspool full of ne'er-do-wells that will use any info that they can to steal your info, spam you, steal your Identity, or just be assholes because they can.
  4. Triggered? I was just making a largely benign comment. Sorry that it triggered you.
  5. Some people covet their privacy.
  6. Yeah, me too. I guess it just depends upon David Tepper and the family dynamics.
  7. I mean, I don't find it odd that you'd Google her, but in my opinion it's a little strange that you'd start a thread over it. Just my opinion though.
  8. Not disturbing at all. She's obviously an everyday type of person that caught the eye of a billionaire who may or may not have helped her wash her info from the world wide webs. She's estimated to be worth 400K herself, so she must have something besides Tepper going for her. Even if not, she's the Panthers first lady now, so she's a part of this journey regardless of whether fans like it or not.
  9. Sorry to hear that. It's always a little disconcerting when someone that's so young dies. I pray that his spirit is on to better things.
  10. Maneuvering the construction of a team is done on a yearly basis. I certainly don't see anything out of the ordinary.
  11. If Penix is there, if you're married to taking the BPA, then you have to have a discussion. He arguably had the best Combine, throws accurately, has an arm---can basically spin it. I can imagine him being the BPA at the beginning of day 2 of the 2024 draft after all the careers are set in stone.
  12. Why would we? We have some tough decisions to make. And it's not like he's some prized possession. We could still re-up him.
  13. Is it caring, or just doing her job?
  14. Some of us have mentioned this, but let it be said once again: 2025 may not be the best time to be looking for a QB in the draft. Of course anything can happen and things do change over a year, but 2025 is sketchy. https://steelersdepot.com/2024/02/weak-2025-qb-class-may-compel-teams-to-find-their-franchise-arm-in-2024/
  15. I gotta say that it'd probably be more entertaining than the Panthers the last five years. I literally just shook my head. Damn.
  16. We should make #CarolinaConcerts go viral as a form of protest (and to embarrass Tepper).
  17. No team ever tries to lose on purpose. We're going to lose anyway, it's just that it might be with bottom-of-the-barrel type of players, senior citizens and UDFAs.
  18. Considering our lack of cap and too few picks for too many holes, I think that a cheaper option with some upside to pair with Burns is Dorance Armstrong. He's been a rotational player kinda lost in a numbers game, but he's better than nothing.
  19. At some point, any reasonable fan has to acknowledge that expectations should be set based upon something that correlates with reality (context and circumstances). David Tepper can expect us to win all he likes, but if we don't have the personnel, the draft capital or simply capital under the cap, then winning is more a longshot than anything else. Winning takes patience, and it has arguably been Tepper's impatience---his delusional expectations about winning and winning "now" that has led the franchise right down to the bottom of the barrel. Sometimes you have to set yourself up to take your lumps one season, for the long term good of the franchise, to have better seasons in the future. It's part of educated calculations and long term planning. If you're busted up due to playing physical sports or a physical job, being held together by bandages and Band-Aids, but decide to keep playing---keep working, while your competition is healthy and simply keeps outperforming you day in and day out, at some point you're going to have to let your body heal in order to get back to a high level of production. The Panthers need to heal. We're not going to do that if we keep making boneheaded decisions based upon unrealistic expectations.
  20. I tried Charlotte sports radio once, and I couldn't take it. I don't know if it was Mac and Bone, but I wouldn't be surprised. There was a woman on the show too. It was cringeworthy.
  21. The son of the GOAT, Branden Rice. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2024/03/06/panthers-reportedly-schedule-top-30-visit-with-usc-wr-brenden-rice/ He's a mid-round prospect. Some fluff for you: https://www.si.com/nfl/2024/03/03/jerry-rice-critique-son-brenden-rice-nfl-combine
  22. A sports analyst at 99.9 the Fan, as is Chris Lea (also at WRAL), as is Dennis Cox, as is Adam Gold. The Triangle has sports talk radio too, just like Charlotte---and probably better than Charlotte from what I've listened to. The redneck shtick of Charlotte sports radio kinda sucks to be honest.
