  1. The owner of Fanatics offered the most money. Not that it matters.
  2. It was reminiscent of the Giants loss. It's unacceptable...when you have a legit NFL-level squad running on even half its cylinders. We don't have that. Our offense is a joke. Our defense gets more suspect with each passing week.
  3. It's not the team, it's Matt Rhule and his dumb decisions, including being irresponsible with draft capital and real capital, inability to scout a decent O-line, inability to scout a decent QB, pushing all his chips in prematurely, unbridled arrogance in regards to his "program" and how it needs to be adjusted in the NFL, inability and/or refusal to put personnel in the best position to succeed, inability to make game-time adjustments, and (much like Rivera) sticking with veterans too long or to a degree that talented young players waste away on the sidelines or inactive on game days to the team's detriment.
  4. He could have let Cam play in the last series, sentimentality or not, for all the good it did for Darnold to play. And Fu<k Matt Rhule!
  5. He said Cooper Kupp was the best receiver in the 2017 draft, and he was right.
  6. Rhule is about as clueless a head coach as has ever been in BOA stadium. Cam, as up and down as he's been post-injury, will be remembered fondly by Panthers fans after all is said and done. Rhule will not.
  7. He's OK, but still a little sketchy--not someone I can trust yet, but perhaps moving in that direction.
  8. I never thought that as a Panthers fan that I'd be embarrassed to be a Panthers fan. This is what David Tepper and Matt Rhule have brought me too. I mean, I used to be able to wear my gear proudly--yeah I still wear it, will wear some tonight at a party--but the other day, as I was taking care of my wife's Christmas gift at the jewelry store, the guy said, "So, you're a Panthers fan." I responded, "Yeah, I know, they suck." That's the depth of conversation now with strangers because I'm reticent of being clowned.
  9. You'll watch in September, but will you be watching in November? Probably.
  10. Until Tepper says something, we don't know anything. We'll likely have to wait to see how this thing plays out. Duh!
  11. See the OP and the third comment.
  12. At least someone asked him about his job status. Even if the low-key smug fat M-f-er is safe for another season, at least someone put his job security on his mind
  13. Probably basing it on the guy who Tepper responded to in the stands that said all he wanted for Christmas was for Rhule to return to college.
  14. Are you referring to Super Bowl ring-wearing Pedersen that coached his ass off in Super Bowl 52? Who do you say we should get that's better and wins all prime-time games?
  15. And in my opinion, if you didn't actually see the kid play, you shouldn't be blowing him off so easily. Others aren't. https://www.google.com/amp/s/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/21/nfl-whiffed-on-evaluating-tyler-huntley-before-the-2020-draft/amp/
  16. He was more accurate than Jackson, and the announcer said that Huntley was better able to throw on schedule (or something to that affect).
  17. He won his first start with a game-winning drive, looked pretty damned good coming in for Jackson after he got hurt, and looked downright legit in Sunday's game. So, I'd say it's at least 1½-3 good performances.
  18. #FireRhule trending on Twitter would likely get someone's attention.
  19. Well I'm going to be different. I'll say Jeff Otah and Tim Biakabutuka.
  20. I think that both the defense and the offense can have a renaissance of sorts with better coaching and a better O-line. It could be dramatic, but until we at least fix the O-line and luck up on a wunderkind at QB, even the defense will suffer as a result. And it's not like the defense has been playing lights-out, but they've shown flashes of being a special group. They need more competent coaches, and more time to ride the pine during games--meaning, supporting the offense as opposed to having to overcome it by pressing because of its fug-ups and inability to sustain pro-level drives.
