  1. True. But let me tell you this. Even in limited reps, fans will see the difference, 1000 percent. Rhule might not, but others will. Mayfield better step up his game. It's admittedly early. The competition hasn't even started yet, but Mayfield's display yesterday didn't justify him being here.
  2. Here's a hot take: When the pads come on, the perceived gap between Corral and the other two will appear to get smaller and smaller. His superior speed, quickness and athleticism will become obvious. The natural smoothness of his movements will become purely evident when juxtposed against the display of Darnold and Mayfield .
  3. Uh, no. But the competition begins in earnest on Monday
  4. Nah, man. He's just beginning. He was damned good in college. He can't help the system that he played in. There is no evidence that he's a bad decision maker. Give him time to develop and some consistent time to actually create a body of work before criticizing him.
  5. You do know that he had some foot soreness, right? Same foot.
  6. OK, now that I've got your attention. Since Tepper (or is it Rhule) has taken over, we've all noticed that they've tightened vids and such in camp. Basically, they've taken something akin to a Russian style of approach to the dissemination of vids, pics, and maybe even the news itself inasmuch as they are able. I mean, don't get me wrong, there is still independent media--this is America--but the control of what we see is real. And, it may not be a coincidence that they "acquired" Darin Gantt and Bill Voth...think about that... Being that we no longer get some of the perspectives that we've gotten before, I'd like to ask that anyone that has the time to sacrifice in that Carolina sweltering heat at Wofford College, to consider going there with a focus--a game plan, if you will. Though most of us can't promise you anything but pie and a generous amount of goodwill (with any amount of surety), we'd appreciate it if you attempt to be our ears and eyes on the ground. Take the tact of old-style journalists and run with it! Those play-by-plays are much appreciated! Moreover, those glimpses--those side missions--of players that aren't exactly being reported upon with any gusto are welcomed as well. We don't need anything fancy. We can't require anything. No super human efforts are warranted. Just little descriptions and observations here and there. This is but a humble request from a fellow Huddler who wishes that he could be there. fug this unnecessary overreach by the Panthers FO, and the unholy corroboration by the NFL and DMCA. The evil empire doesn't seem to understand that more perspectives enhance the fan experience, and excites and energizes the fan base. On the real, a little pushback can go a long way towards making "camping" what it used to be. Thank you, all!
  7. That too! My thing is, is that we have some guys with true talent, particularly in the defensive backfield and wide receiver (and QB and RB and on the O-line). We also, added some coaches who know a little bit about the game. Knock on wood to keep injuries at bay, and we will hopefully be good. It's not a stretch that improvements will come and be obvious. I'm looking forward to it.
  8. We could say this about the whole of camp and preseason every year if we want to look at things from that perspective. Just saying.
  9. TMJ actually balled out during the preseason (more yards than any receiver), then injuries, the offensive coordination, and the train wreck of a season happened. We don't have to worry about Henderson getting play on game days. He was brought here to play.
  10. Learning, developing and showing marked improvement in camp isn't meaningless.
  11. People need to give this guy pie. He has his two daughters to boot. He might be foregoing some beer breaks too, but that might be a good thing...
  12. Corral obviously needs to get more run. I don't care if it's at Darnold's or Baker's expense. I don't care.
  13. Henderson truly looks to be moving toward his "3rd round" status for us. Some Huddlers dogged the pickup and talked sh¡t about him last season, being premature, and all he's done is improved.
  14. Yep. I don't care how we score. There are benefits of a ball control offense and winning time of possession too.
  15. It's going to take a lot for Shi to make the team. Today he's practicing like he knows it. He better prove his worth on returns.
  16. That kid has been in the NFL all of three months. That's quality, lean muscle!
