  1. That's actually hilarious. Sam Darnold's class is "Sam Darnold"
  2. Sorry, but I have to take what Rhule is saying into account. Perhaps it's coach-speak, but I doubt it. There's a ways to go yet. Between 11 on 11s, blitz drills and preseason, it's to early to draw a conclusion.
  3. Well that's kind of the point. It's only one play of many. He got beat, but he closed well, and honestly even if the ball was placed to the outside, Robbie is probably headed out of bounds even after the completion. Robbie may have been initially looking for Baker to come back to the inside, I don't know, but I think that a better camera angle would give us a better perspective.
  4. It's not as cut-and-dried as some make it out to be. We're only talking day 2 and 7 on 7s. It's going to be a process, but Mayfield's start is promising.
  5. Henderson has reportedly been doing well the entire camp though, so much so that even 89 gave him some props.
  6. Hell, I brought this up when he signed his contract. He needs to score more which will hopefully happen. He has scoring on his radar per earlier interviews.
  7. A much better bet, and an exponentially better deal than Darnold. That (and the Baker trade) is how you work the system. Wait until after he shows well during 2022, and then exercise that 5th year option in 2023.
  8. Robbie is on mission this year, as is Baker. It should make for some good fireworks once Baker takes over.
  9. That's water under the bridge. Robbie explained it. What's more impressive is that in his interview with Josina Anderson, Robbie told you that he was going to do his best to help Mayfield succeed. It's only day 2, but I'd say that Robbie is a man of his word.
  10. If Corral had been playing for Georgia, he'd have beat Baker's ass. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article263221493.html "The Panthers did call Corral to inform him of the trade and ensured him that he is still their future of the position, according to a league source." If anyone crowned his ass, it wasn't me.
  11. The bulk of the team sucked last year. Only Panthers fans are--rightly or wronly--putting the bulk of the blame on Darnold. Darnold's perceived potential across the league has not exactly run dry. But we need this to happen soon...
  12. Robbie did exactly what he said that he was going to do, you questionable motherfugers that shitted my post. He was key to Mayfield's success today and was at his best. fug y'all!
  13. Just hit the share icon on the tweet on Twitter, hit the copy post icon and paste the link here.
  14. You're just giving Igo an imaginary hand towards his own gratification.
  15. Actually, he's not trying to make a statement, just doing his own thing before the team gets out there.
  16. Corral didn't play as many games as Baker in college. He also played in the SEC , and that means a lot whether you want to acknowledge it or not. Furthermore, when you add in the rushing production, the numbers are a lot closer. You are trying to act like I don't want to give MC9 time to develop, but I have lots of posts saying and suggesting that very thing. I have been consistent with it, and anyone paying attention knows that. I should be the one saying "sheesh," because of the seemingly concerted effort by some to try and downplay the kid's skills when it comes to Mayfield. Talking about "irritating..."
  17. Come on, people. I know that some of y'all are better than this. You'd think that Robbie was speaking tlhIngan Hol. Just because he isn't speaking the King's English in a Standard English sort of way doesn't mean that he isn't communicating, and communicating effectively. If you can't understand or just simply want to clown him due to manner in which he speaks, then that just makes me raise an eyebrow towards you on several different fronts.
  18. First off, I was responding to a slight on Corral. In my opinion, it's a stretch to say Baker has "significantly better" arm talent than Corral, especially when there is ample information in articles, vids, draft profiles and scouting reports that list Corral's arm talent as a plus (if not more). Secondly, much of the same information mentions Corral's arm strength as a plus (e.g. in relation to his arm, "cannon" and "live" are terms used). Third, if you throw the ball 77 yards, you throw the ball 77 yards. There's no need to belittle the feat. If someone gets "irritated" at Corral for me giving pushback to what I deem is misinformation or unfair knocks, then they have some issues. As for Baker, sorry that you deem readily available information on him that is indicative of his body of work as a "knock." He's going to have to improve upon his decision making, demonstrate greater field vision, be more consistent with his mechanics, and show up in crunch time, and simply be better than he was in Cleveland before I crown his ass. And that doesn't have anything to do with Corral who has already been told that he is the future of the franchise. So, sooner or later--likely later--he will get his chance. Darnold and Mayfield have been in the league for four years and have not proven to be elite, and that's just the way it is.
  19. Baker's pass was the longest in an NFL game. He threw the ball 70.5 yards (essentially without any pressure whatsoever. Look at the play). Corral threw the all 77 yards in a throwing competition before college. Take from it what you will. My point is that his arm is plenty strong. Many people, including analysts, have rightfully referred to his arm as a "cannon."
