  1. Not going for the FG still sticks in my craw. Against a better team, it easily could've cost us the game.
  2. We're going to have to beat better than a banged-up Bucs team, with a QB going through some things, for me to really think we can win on a consistent basis with Wilks as HC.
  3. He hasn't had any problems so far this year, including two 100-yard games.
  4. Yeah, Mayfield shot out of the pocket like a rocket and still simply wasn't very accurate. Mayfield's decision making was bad, and like I told people during the spring, he's not really an athletic guy. I think that lineman began to use that against him because he can't or simply won't adjust on the fly. I don't view him as the best throw-on-the-go type of guy. Walker could always roll out and throw with ease, it's just that he wasn't particularly accurate...until this past Sunday.
  5. If he gets us to the playoffs, with more than a .500 record (and our QB room), I'll apologize for saying that he ain't it.
  6. And that's what I've been trying to tell you fugers about Corral. Try to be a rookie QB figuring things out yourself. Yes, the kid has a huge uphill battle, and of course there are no guarantees, but he's shown he can overcome things. The smart Huddler would at least keep an open mind.
  7. They are only showing the Brady pass and Evans drop hilight for our game. Neither Walker nor the Panthers got any shine whatsoever.
  8. People who think (and are staunch proponents of) tanking aren't very knowledgeable about the game. That's the only reason why the question of the number one pick comes up at this time in the season anyway. Just the thought of intentionally trying to lose goes against everything that is football. If you're going to lose, youre going to do it because your team isn:t good. Players play to win, period!
  9. Let me correct you on one thing though: we aren't actively shopping anyone.
  10. I get it, math is good on paper. In a practical and historical sense, does it really make that big of a difference? Top 10 vs top one, for example, is the mathematical difference that huge, especially when juxtaposed against real results?
  11. Great, but that doesn't answer the question within a historical context.
  12. Yeah, but does having the FIRST pick give you that big of an advantage at the QB tree?
  13. I'm just glad he'll get an opportunity. Much like others during the Rhule error, people mistaked being mishandled for sucking. TMJ doesn't suck, people. He plays bigger than he is also. I could be wrong, but I think Dez Bryant is kind of his ceiling.
  14. I will say that if the defense can continue to play like it has, then the rebuild won't take nearly as long. We're going to have to re-sign a few players though.
  15. I don't know what to tell ya. There was a reason they gave up so much to get Lance. If Garropolo didn't make the weekly boneheaded decision, he'd have probably won the 49ers a Super Bowl by now.
  16. Huddlers will never believe this: Butker just missed an easy field goal.
  17. Well that's the thing; people are trying to act like a top pick is s guarantee. It's not. It's simply not. Picking the wrong guy is just a part of the process. Hitting on that true franchise guy is really part research---they're all researched extensively---and part luck. That's why you have to keep on throwing darts until you hit.
  18. The way that the Lions are now being the Lions, we will not be getting our choice of QB anyway.
  19. In on every deal! If Lamar goes up for sale, we'll do our best within reason to get him. Whine and gnash teeth all you like, but there is no doubt about it.
  20. It's not. Some may believe I'm crazy, but Hubbard might need to be the lead back and Foreman the third-down guy. And for the record, I've always thought that Hubbard's running ability was better than what people saying here were letting on, but his hands suck. If Hubbard could get his hands together, he'd be more than solid. All that being said, we need to draft someone to add to the competition next year.
  21. I'm saying it cautiously: we may FINALLY be seeing the beginning of the demise of the GOAT. Also, don't underestimate our defense.
  22. Sorry, if someone wants to give me two firsts or a first, second and a third for DJ...well, you know.
