  1. His passer rating is kind of a pedestrian 85. Cam's career passer rating is 85.2
  2. I've watched the game for 50 years, in earnest for 46. That being said, I have my opinions. Young would probably not meet the threshold of dual-threat QB today, so it's kind of hard for me to consider him the best dual-threat QB of "all time." He was the greatest of his time, maybe...He was really adept as a pocket as much as any QB in his day, and his passing yards are indicative of that.
  3. I would classify Young as more of a mobile QB than a legit dual threat QB, and he's really not known for changing the game. It was a different era where the rushing numbers really pale in comparison to what has gone on in today's NFL.
  4. Anyone being honest chooses Mahomes out of all the QBs today. Brady and Rodgers are over the hill to varying degrees, but, regardless, Mahomes is outright better.
  5. Well, most people are going to say Mahomes. I want the best, and that's what he is.
  6. Scot, if you had to pick one QB to start a the right now, who is your choice? Mine is Mahomes and it's not even close.
  7. That's fine, but I pretty much listen to ESPN all day, and most say he is the top, and most are picking him to be the MVP at this particular moment.
  8. No one is on Mahomes' tier right now.
  9. Why wouldn't the Bills just kick the FG? Going for it on 4th and two was just dumb.
  10. It's big business. https://thefsga.org/industry-demographics/
  11. If all parties agree on a reasonable deal, he'll likely re-sign. If not, he'll likely resign. Either way, we should draft a back in fitting with the BPA principle.
  12. Shhhhh. We don't want this to get out. We need Burns' trade value to stay as high as ever. Really though, he's still very young and hasn't hit his prime. If we can figure the OLB thing out, then certainly these NFL execs have done it. Burns is here now playing pretty well with the hand that he's been dealt. We'll tender him and go from there.
  13. Why try to microanalyze it? He's having a good time with his teammates. He's hyped. He's keeping everyone motivated.
  14. That's fine, but a little deceiving. He hasn't passed as nearly as much as most of them. But completing those passes is the most important, without INTs I might add. Sure, it works against some teams, but won't against others. I'm all for limiting Walker's potential screwups; I just think that when you're playing the league'sbworat passing defense, there's probably a way to get a more decisive victory. I can't really fault Wilks for his game plan, but I'm still skeptical that it would work against superior competition.
  15. Paying Thomas just baffles me regardless.
  16. This is exactly why I don't think that he's lost any trade value. With every sack that he gets, he's actually bolstering his value. I still believe he'd be more effective as a 3-4 LB, but you never know. If we add a more traditional rusher on the other side, and let Haynes rush from the LB spot, we just might be special. If we decide to trade him, two firsts and a second is the floor.
  17. The fools didn't even run Patterson like they could have.
  18. They limit what PJ can do, because they're scared he is going to throw a pick, rightly or wrongly. It's a catch-22. At least I hope that's why they're calling so many passes behind the line. I just can't condone that type of play calling because it's too damned elementary, and teams worth a damn will make you pay. Hopefully it's just a P.J. thing, but I have my suspicions.
  19. Old school! I wear black socks with my Crocs, so I guess I'm a hybrid.
  20. You'll get no argument from me, I was specifically referring to his trade value. Those sacks look good.
