Some fool might do it. I don't think Tepper's a fool right now, but if he does that I will change my mind. I don't like the reports that essentially say that Tepper is willing to do anything (in so many words). Payton ain't worth all that in my book.

When did Tepper get involved with Personnel? Are you talking non-players? All owners get involved in the hiring of managers and coaches (and I'd assume they have input on blockbuster deals). I haven't seen Tepper make any direct decisions on a player; for better or worse he lets his hirelings make those decisions.

It wasn't like that. It was fueled by a belief in something bigger than yourself. Official campaign staffers were few and far between. The preponderance of YangGang were individuals and volunteers. No one had to pay us. If there was something that needed to be done, it was mostly done by grassroots' donations. The presence on Twitter were regular people eager to spread the message and confront lies. It was awesome while it lasted.

I appreciate y'all sharing these articles, but you might want to think about only sharing the highlights or quote the most pertinent points, as the Fair Use Doctrine is a real thing. Igo knows this, and the mods should know it. Long time posters should know it too, really (though I've seen some of them post whole articles too). This is but a word to the wise. Posting some content is arguable under Fair Use, but posting entire articles is certainly not, not without the permission of the author and/or associated publication.

I have a hard time viewing Lance and especially Fields as classic reclamation projects if that's where you're going. Fields is still a budding star, and Lance hasn't even been able to show what he has (two games and a fraction aren't anywhere near enough). The fact is that it's arguable that both, particularly Fields, are more talented than any prospect in this draft. There are no sure bets coming out of this draft. Just drafting a QB in the first round because he's a first rounder is not a recipe for success, regardless of how much Huddlers opine to the contrary.

Richardson is a straight-up project. I don't see us passing up another day-one starter to draft AR.

Kyler Murray is shorter than young, but he is bigger than young. Young is naturally a smallish guy. Baker is bigger than young also. All you have to do is look at these guys, and you will see that Young is smaller. That being said, someone may overlook that, and I don't believe we will have that opportunity.

At the end of the day, we are going to have to stand on our own two feet, regardless what the Saints, Bucs, Falcons or anyone else does. I don't care what draft picks the Saints have. That's their thing. We have to handle our own business.
