Albert Breer: Bryce Young scored 98 on his S2 teat

What?! You just told me that you prefer Stroud in this same thread. -

Out of all the top QBs, Stroud's numbers took the biggest tumble when under pressure. He gets wildly inconsistent. That is the biggest criticism that scouts/analysts have on him. He doesn't have the escape-ability of Young, or the accuracy off-platform. -

We already know that his playing weight at Bama was a buck and the low to mid nineties. -

It also has grown men, particularly in the SEC. -

Limitations aren't really proven. They are simply projections based out of fear when you get right down to it. I'm sure he's faced doubters since he was a child, but he continued to prove people wrong all along the way. He's been the best of the bunch. -

Dude, he literally said "little." Neither Richardson or Levis fit the bill. -

Whoever came up with that is a genius. The perfect meme for Bryce-hater cry babies. -

Yeah, but the little pun wouldn't apply to anyone else. -

Because some FOs and coaches are susceptible to media-driven hype Because he was saddled with bad coaching that was not trying to play to his strengths, had to deal with more than one OC, had a terrible O-line as far as pass protection, and didn't have any great weapons. -

In a perfect world, Caleb Williams would be in this draft, but it's this draft. I'm higher on Young than the others, sure, but for me it's pretty simple: Young is the best of this draft based upon his collegiate career. Stroud is the purest passer, but has been highly inconsistent when the pressure comes, so much so that his play notably suffers. AR-15 is raw and the quintessential boom or bust player. Young's tape doesn't show the deficiencies of the other prospects. I can't get upset if they decide to choose the guy with the best tape, and legitimately deserving of his Heisman trophy, simply because he plays at 190 pounds at 21 years old. It's a controlled swing for the fences. I'm not going to get upset due to that. -

That's not what was said. They absolutely are being taught how to hit the QB without getting a penalty. Who has dived off a cliff defending his size? Show me all these posts that don't make sense. I think that it's the other way around. People who just don't want him because of his size have gone way overboard in their criticism. They don't want to talk football, and even when they do they're talking out their ass. -

I mean, I like Downs, but the expectation for him really isn't a WR1. Depending upon what TE is available, I'd probably be inclined to take the TE, but I'm down with Downs. -

Easier said than done. That will likely take some draft capital, and honestly this WR class doesn't necessarily have any sure-fire beasts. If one of the WRs slides into the second, then maybe, otherwise we might be better off just going BPA. I think that could be a TE before it's a WR, but, then again, we need a pass rusher and an LB, so I don't know. The WR out of UT looks interesting. I doubt Quentin slides. Njigba is probably the surest WR in the draft, so he'll be long gone. -
Talking about salty.

Not surprised one bit. I told y'all over a month ago. Intellectually, you have to take Young.

It's so frustratingly inconsistent, at least when I used it. It's all about finding the right app. -

Damn, I feel y'all's pain. Bunch of greedy bastards! -
Dude, have you even read the scouting reports? I'd say that the most negative thing is that Stroud just becomes very inconsistent when the pressure starts coming. Under pressure, there is a marked dropoff in his game. That's coming from multiple analysts, but I'll quote Sam Monson from PFF. "Stroud’s biggest weakness has been play under pressure — outside of his college playoff game against Georgia this season. His PFF grade from a clean pocket this season finished at 93.4 but dropped to 42.0 when he was pressured. His 10.3 yards per attempt from a clean pocket became 5.7 when under duress, and he ranked in just the 10th percentile in PFF grade under pressure. The game against Georgia showed that he has it in him to excel in those circumstances, but the rest of his college tape shows he hasn’t been able to do it consistently." Anyone that isn't aware of this criticism of Stroud's game just hasn't been paying attention.

I mean, I understand what you're saying. But it's one game. Stroud actually has a pattern of being sketchy under pressure. He's great when everything is clean and his first read is open. It's just when things break down.

Why did you poo me @Gerry Green, you don't like my simile?

The girl wasn't hogtied; she had on string bracelets and anklets. Furthermore she had an apple in the mouth and a few pineapple rings on her with all lady parts covered. Get it right! I took one for the team. I knew there was a chance that the snowflakes would scream, "OMG!" I'm not ashamed for being a man that appreciates beauty or art. I crossed the line and took my ban like a man. You're comparing apples to oranges. Happy Easter!

I mean, you kinda deserved it because he wasn't comparing Stroud to Gabbert...or Bryce to Cam I might add.
