Not really
-
He's already made up his mind, so he sees what he wants to, proclaims it to his "amen corner," and they commence to proliferate it as fact.
-
Because of his preconceived notions. He's the one that had to be convinced about Bryce, and to be honest he probably never was fully on board. We heard all the rumors about Reich and big QBs. Well those rumors were probably closer to the truth than not. He was NOT the one pushing for Bryce.
-
Obviously reading comprehension isn't your thing. Having elite arm strength does not mean that you have a weak arm, period. He has an arm good enough to make all throws.
-
Because fuging Frank Reich opened up the playbook, that's why. The arm talent argument was and is bullshit.
-
Being small and lacking physically don't necessarily go hand in hand. Bottom line: He knows how to throw a ball based upon his football history.
-
Philly knew it, just not us.
-
Reich is the center of the problem. For the life of me, I don't get how you guys think that his arm just suddenly disappeared just because he got to the pros. Anyone intimating that he has a noodle arm is simply not interested in truth because that wasn't on his college tape, nor is it on any scouting report.

Rookie seasons go poorly all the time. A rookie QB fuging up here and there should be expected. The problem is that people won't really acknowledge who/what the real problem is. Bryce has only played THREE games, and is trying to play within the scheme he is being taught, with the play makers and protectors that play with him (who have arguably been put into a tough spot themselves if you look at their regression) He's not going to be perfect, but the book has barely begun to be written.

Kyle Bailey says Tepper isnt happy, wants changes now.

What Reich needs to do is coach, including improving his schemes and opening up the play book to put his rookie QB into the best position to succeed. That's supposedly what he has all those years of NFL experience doing, and it's what he's being paid to do. -
You just need to stop saying/intimating---whatever you want to call it---that Bryce can't throw down-field, because it's not true. His lack of down-field throws is a failure of coaching.

Yes he can, and even though it would have the great possibility of nuking the season, it's already dead anyway. One thing that I don't know if was mentioned (because I just don't have time to go through 19+ pages right now), is that Tepper already has experience firing a coach mid season with decidedly positive results from the W-L perspective. I mean, what, is it going to get worse? I don't have any sentimentality over Reich, social graces or norms. Make history, Tepper, do it! -
Yeah, whatever you say. The kid was a rookie playing with Davis Mills. It's not hard to figure out. Coaching and QBs matter.

I'm not even gonna go into AR right now, because he's a running QB, and I personally don't want a QB whose claim to fame is running, and whose passing is sketchy. Maybe if he turns into an effective passer like Josh Allen, I'll change my mind (but that ain't today). But, you're absolutely right about his O-line. Pittman and Downs are talented. Downs would probably be amazing with Bryce in this snooze-fest of a Reich offense. Not sure how you're going to downplay Collins considering his numbers this year. Yeah, and OC can overlook him at their own risk. Tank Dell isn't chopped liver either. Robert Woods is simply a good safety valve, as is Dalton Schultz. If you want to see a local review of what happened against the Steelers, here you go https://www.audacy.com/sportsradio610/sports/houston-texans/texans-load-up-on-a-plus-grades-after-victory-over-steelers Granted, Stroud seems to be the real deal, but even he wouldn't look like he does if he had to deal with what Bryce has had to put up with.
-
They do have better help than advertised, and we arguably have worse, but the true distinction lies within the coaching and putting players into a position to succeed. You have to believe in your QB and let him loose. Reich is doing anything but.
-
Damned good question. I'm tired of coaches that just don't know what the fug they are doing.
-
If Reich actually took takes the training wheels off and starts actually believing in Bryce and let's him play, then perhaps Bryce will actually become Bryce as opposed to some Reich-stunted rookie QB behind a highly questionable O-line. Bryce is a rookie who should be expected to make mistakes. Reich is a seasoned NFL head coach who is repeatedly and nauseatingly calling plays fit for the peewee league. He needs to get out of his own way, vand especially Young's.

Pledge to continue being a fan the rest of the season....

Honestly, I was a solid Fitt supporter, but he has not only supported some questionable personnel decisions over his tenure, he supported the hiring of Reich which was about the most lackluster hire imaginable. I'm ready to fire both right now. -
I've told y'all before, Shenault has always had trouble tracking the ball. That's a pretty big deal for a receiver. We have actual receivers with no such shortcoming. It's also why so many of his receptions are short and they basically have turned him into a quasi RB.
-
The biggest takeaway for me was that Reich doesn't really trust Bryce. I thought about it, and it really makes sense. For me, it's unforgivable.
-
That's basically what was said. My goodness! Anyway.
-
Like I said, dude literally said that we were sold "a bill of goods." Some people did believe that. I wouldn't refer to them as "morons" though.
-
Dude literally said that we were sold a bill of goods. On an off note, many of us told you before the season that we weren't ready. We KNEW that Fitterer and whoever else was talking bullshit.
-
What the actual fug are you talking about?
