  1. It's probably why I'm still up even though I have to be up in less than four hours now.
  2. He likely was. I'm not gonna lie...I've stopped listening to his pressers. He's a nice guy, but I can't stand him as a coach. Fitterer is beginning to look like a dog chasing his tail too. I just can't take it.
  3. True, but you gotta do what you gotta do. This situation is horrible. That's why I'm all for letting the axe drop before Young is fuged up irreparably. Hell, some think that he's already a bust if you read between the lines. Carr got Carred, RG3 got crushed, and Darnold began seeing ghosts.
  4. I saw a scouting report that said 40-50. That's Watson territory.
  5. Velocity and arm strength aren't the same thing. I'm with Carpanfan, I think that his arm strength is a little above average, and he's probably right about Young's anticipation making his arm talent appear better than it is, but you have to look at the total package (smarts, anticipation, arm elasticity), that's what in theory is the great equalizer.
  6. We need a new GM and coach. Other teams have pushed their chips in on a QB who went bust (or whom they thought went bust) and survived, and we can too with the right people at the helm. Of course it will take a couple of years, but it is what it is.
  7. No, LG has pointedly said this time that Bryce doesn't have an NFL arm. I know that he has intimated it plenty (if not said it before). He knows what he's saying.
  8. Oh, now he doesn't even have "average" NFL arm talent. Let's keep pretending that Reich isn't limiting Bryce. It fits your convenient narrative, so roll on.
  9. Howell had a decent day relative to his inexperience. He got away with throwing some balls up for grabs. He's a tough kid. It would be nice if he had more protection.
  10. I mean, that's what we were talking about, specifically revisionist history. But the Huddle is gonna Huddle.
  11. Fields threw it to D.J. Moore several times during the first half and put Washington in a hole. Washington began to push for a comeback in the second behind a gritty Howell. Fields went to Moore again and iced the game in the 4th quarter. Game over!
  12. Oh yeah, that's average velocity. Bullsh¡t!
  13. Hell, his first pass had plenty of zip.
  14. Dude, I'm not insulted, but just like I told another guy who conveniently used this exact same report, elite arm strength does NOT mean that Bryce has a noodle arm. It also doesn't mean that he has an "average" arm (that depends upon definition). I guess "good" velocity doesn't really mean "good," it means "average." Come on, dude. Now seriously, I gotta go to bed. No offense or insults meant or taken.
  15. I gotta be up at 5, but y'all have a good night.
  16. I wish we would've drafted Fields like we were supposed to, then we could have skipped all this crazy talk.
  17. Whatever you say. I read the scouting reports, and I watched all the passes.
  18. I mean, we can all see Bryce's failings at this level so far. You don't have to start making poo up to support your opinion. But the smart person also considers the context of his situation.
  19. Throughout his college career, Bryce Young displayed plenty of zip when necessary. You guys are making poo up. The only real concern about Bryce was his size. Plain and simple.
  20. That's a lie. Just because he doesn't have a cannon doesn't mean he doesn't have "good" arm strength. Y'all's revisionist history is running amok.
  21. Even if that's true, you're just assuming that Bryce couldn't have made that throw, and that's where some of us are calling "bullshit!" Hell, Fields didn't even appear to put everything on it.
  22. I totally agree. It's take shots at Bryce season for anything, and there's too much subjectivity mixed in with the shot.
