  1. I agree, but are we really going to act like Bryce doesn't have ample velocity on his throws? He has zipped the ball in a few times, including last game where he zipped one to Hurst. From my perspective Bryce's problems stem from learning the speed of the game, lack of adequate protection and inept play calling. I think that he's gradually learning the speed of the game, as is evidenced by baby steps in improvement from one game to the next. Hopefully the line will gel and Brown will call plays that play not only to Young's strengths, but his supporting cast's.
  2. It's more like you sharing in mine. Neither Ridley, D.J. Moore have been consistent enough to help my team but for a week or two. Jerry Jeudy simply sucks. I also lost Nick Chubb, and Joe Burrow has been highly inconsistent himself. At this point I'm just throwing poo against the wall to see if it sticks.
  3. The Jags are gonna fool around and lose.
  4. First of all, no one said Jeudy was anything special, but that he has potential on paper, is still young and has not even hit his prime, and is highly affordable. Secondly, Adams is not a spring chicken anymore, and is looking for greatness, as well as those huge pay checks. Why would he want to come here?
  5. Not exactly, but it's because Jeff Bezos had the money and power and influence to make it so.
  6. Goldilocks has only targeted Ridley one time. What the hell? Less than a minute left in the 3rd. I was sold a bill of goods by fantasy analysts.
  7. Just as soon as we trade him he's going to turn into a man of steel. The football gods hate us. On an off note, that makes me think that we might want to put Burns in some bubble wrap.
  8. I can appreciate that. I failed to mention Bryce, but he is perhaps a "problem" too, but he's still learning as well: not only is he learning the speed of the game--what he can and cannot do, but I truly believe that he's still learning the receivers (as strange as that may sound). I think that all of it's just fuging with the chemistry of them all. Hopefully some things will start to smooth out and gel with the play calling by our OC and we'll see more chemistry. I can't promise it, but that's the hope...
  9. I really can't say our receivers are bad. I've seen Chark look very good in Jacksonville and in Detroit once he got on the field. What has been the difference here? Play calling? Lack of a true WR1? Probably both. As for Mingo, he's a rookie. I don't see where people are really being fair about him. I think the lack of a 1 is slowing him down as well (along with play calling). I'm not going to limit him this early, but for me his upside was never going to be about separation, but about winning the 50-50 balls with his physicality. If you think about it, that's exactly what Tee Higgins does because he's not an elite separator either (kind of like Alshon Jeffrey). At the end of the day, it's much too early to be labelling him (as JAG or anything really). He's a rookie that needs to learn and grow.
  10. Not quite sure why there seems to be a mood of devaluing Burns here, but I suspect that the proof will be in the pudding very soon.
  11. Thielen is the best slot receiver in the game. He's a different kind of threat--he won't be killing you on the outside--but he's still a legit threat.
  12. Oh, OK. I assumed the rating in the first pic was QBR (which 90-something is good), but it's actually passer rating. Of course the NFL developed the passer rating, while ESPN developed QBR. The only thing about QBR is that we don't know exactly what it's measuring.
  13. All of these guys are still young, and the positions take time to develop.
  14. I would think that there would be a conflict of interest somewhere. This story is unbelievable by the way.
  15. Even a couple of analysts said that it looked like Reich gave Dalton a different playbook than Bryce. More than a few have said that Reich needs to take the training wheels off Young. I think that we'll get a lot of answers as to who is right and who is wrong by season's end. But questions will begin to be answered once Brown opens up his playbook.
  16. I mean, that's the game. He was already in the top spot (even Houston's), so why should he have hurt that? The world already knew that he wasn't in their league physically. I'm not gonna argue his pro day. Scouts had been scouting him for years. It's not a Zach Wilson case where people became enamored over a few passes during his pro day sending his stock skyward. Bryce's stock was already off the charts, and, sure, his football IQ was a marked reason why.
  17. I'd rather just put you on ignore. It will make my Huddle experience so much better.
  18. You know, I don't have to listen to your lying bullshit. You're a troll, and that's how I'm going to treat you.
  19. And, that's not supporting Tepper, that's stating the obvious. Who gives a flying fug about Tepper's failed business agreement with Rock Hill. That's hardly even football related. It's not materially important to the successful operation of a football team. There's plenty of stuff to talk about and be upset with Tepper about that directly speaks to why we're sucking right now (like hiring Matt Rhule and giving him full control) than his fuging vanity project in Rock Hill. You lied. And you're still lying. You really lied about D.J. Moore too, but that's more arguable (but, I hated him so much that I drafted him on my fantasy team). Here, it's not arguable. I was never a Tepper apologist, and your insinuation that I was is a flat out lie.
