If I'm trading anything of value for a receiver, it would be Metcalf, otherwise I'll take my chances in the draft. I mean, if we can get good value, fine. But, we probably wouldn't get good value. -

I don't know, man. There are receivers coming on that are going to push him down the line. Jordan Addison, Zay Flowers, Josh Downs, Puka Nacua, and others. And that's not even all the old heads. -

I wouldn't call Higgins a "quick twitch, fast WR." Honestly, he's not even as fast as the guys we have now. He's more like a 50-50 ball demigod that makes it 75-25. -
Question for the Burns pocket watchers...
top dawg replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dude, we have a rookie QB, a raw-ish rookie WR who may be the second best on the team, no WR1, RBs that seem to be best suited as backups (certainly no bell cows) or in a RBBC---no skill positions players that strike fear in the hearts of the opposition, no A-list or even B-list TE, a highly suspect O-line, a coach that thinks it's 1995, a newly constituted staff, a very young team, a GM that has made some highly suspect decisions, an impatient owner who really doesn't know what it takes to build a successful franchise or how long it takes, a DC that is managing players that may be ill-suited to his scheme or just inexperienced (or both), injuries galore, and not enough capital (real or draft) to fix some big holes by the 2024 season. -
PathersWire: Best and worst PFF grades week 8

With inflation, it will probably be worth it by then. -
Well, I only iron if I'm going to church, and don't care who likes it or not. You get that way once you get older, plus I've been married 30 years, so....And actually it was still in my birthday bag with all my other gifts. As for the Cowboys, I'll leave that to you. Everyone on here, and those IRL know without a doubt that I am a Panthers fan through and through. I like the NFL and some players for sure, but I love the Panthers.

I know you're joking...but don't get it twisted.

I've been saying he is our best back since last season. He may not be able to take the team on his back, but, but I view him as the second generation Nick Goings. He's a sneaky explosive north-south runner that can be very productive if he gets to the second level, and tear your ass up if he gets into the open field. Glad to see he's still working on his hands because he's fairly one dimensional right now, but can still move the chains occasionally with key catches.

Oh, that is a woman, damn!

I’m convinced that with above average WRs Young can be VERY good
top dawg replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree, but more than that Bryce needs average to above average protection. -
Thanks, but you da real boss. Congrats to you and all fans for a victory.

I don't have any problem with Cohen being on the PS, but only if he can't do the things that Blackshear can do and more. Cohen has certainly proven to be markedly more productive when he was fully healthy.
-
You may be right, and I know that Blackshear is the flavor of the day, but Cohen pre-injury was simply more of a legit threat.
-
Well, perhaps if Tarik Cohen is ever elecated, and they use him creatively, maybe he can be used to similar effect.

Thomas Brown first game calling plays...
top dawg replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Brown's play calling was mixed, but much more creative than Reich's. For a first start, it's certainly worth building upon. -
Again, this is why you don't make premature conclusions about guys. You must give them time to learn and make some strides. I think that he'll prove that he's worth that second rounder eventually; it just won't happen overnight.
-
If he did that, he's as wrong as two left shoes.
-
That's why you can't draw conclusions way too early. At least wise men shouldn't.
-
I just feel relief to be honest. It was drama until the end. I"ve never felt so exhausted after a win, but I'll take it.
-
I don't think that it really matters who runs the "sneak," Andy Dalton can definitely run it.
-
Don't like that play call, or the screen to Thielen on third.
-
Why run Blackshear?
