  1. Look at D.K. He's on a team that is run-first, has had to play alongside Lockett and now Smith-Njigba, but most NFL types would say he's higher rated than Moore. Where? It's arguable.
  2. And stop talking about Fields like he can't play. He obviously is highly talented, and he's the type of QB that will take some pressure off of his receivers because he's a threat to run. Being that Moore was their only real threat, he didn't have any lack of targets or catches.
  3. There you go with your shtick. I have never EVER EVER seen any Huddler say D.J. Moore is average.
  4. Yay! Enough talk. I'll wait to see what's done.
  5. I would be a little wary because that would be two teams giving up on him, but Lance is still young and just hasn't had the experience to make a definitive determination about him. Due to the way his career has gone, he may not get it, but that may be because teams are just too impatient. I wouldn't give up that fourth that the Cowboys gave up, which is why I think they wouldn't trade him anyway.
  6. I didn't catch Thielen actually saying that he didn't want to be part of a rebuild; I know that he said that he thought that we'd be a championship contender Here is what he said after the last game: “I committed to bein’ here for two years. When we kinda negotiated the contract, I was sayin’ I wanna be here, I wanna be a part of something special, buildin’ somethin’ special. So I wanna uphold that commitment and I’m excited to see what that looks like.”
  7. Only a handful of true ones presently in the league, and he ain't one of them...
  8. Well give us a tad more depth (not asking for a book) than just "good stuff." What's so good?
  9. He's...inciteful...but only if you play the game. I play along sometimes, until I get bored of the shenanigans.
  10. I wanted Lamar to win just to put all that poo to bed. I'm tired of hearing it. But, Lamar not only lost, but he didn't have the greatest game either. Sigh. I listen to ESPN Radio most everyday. Sometimes I agree with whomever, sometimes I don't. I take their takes as good for thought. one thing I do like about ESPN is that sometimes their personalities reference advanced stats. #Hembo on #Greeny lives and dies by advanced stats more than anyone I've ever seen. He's an encyclopedia. That being said, you can learn some things you may not know. Of course ESPN uses QBR, as it invented it, so I learned that Brock Purdy is the best QB that has ever run Shananan's system. He was arguably better overall than Matt Ryan in his Superbowl year. Purdy's QBR (74+) is approximately five points higher than RG3's (69+) in his rookie year. And of course Jimmy G wasn't really close. One thing Hembo did say is that people (like @LinvilleGorge) try to bang on Purdy for living off YAC, but he said that Purdy is in the bottom third of the league. He also said that when Jimmy G went to the Superbowl, YAC accounted for more than 50 percent of his passing yards, while Purdy's was 10 percent less (which, again is bottom-third of all QBs). He also said that Purdy's 9.2 yard per pass average is excellent. So, I wasn't banging Lamar, I was saying that people should give Purdy his due. He's obviously benefitting from good players---which he's supposed to do---but they're benefitting from him as well. He's running Shananan's system better than it's ever been run.
  11. They probably laughed about our lack of personnel and erased the time he was in Charlotte.
  12. He's getting what he deserves. If I was an owner I wouldn't pay him either. You have to do something before you expect to be paid. Being an OC is not enough. Hell, lots of OCs have been HCs and flopped. Look at Josh McDaniels. Johnson seems more concerned about the money which to me is a red flag. And then to tell someone while they are flying to you? Nah, dude.
  13. I edited it to reflect what I heard on ESPN. No one was willing to give him his asking price.
  14. They reported on ESPN that no one was willing to give him his asking price. Dumbass obviously wants to reset the market. Honestly, I hope owners blackball his ass. Let him stay an OC forever.
  15. All jokes aside, he's a smart kid and I'm sure that he realizes the stakes. We should get a much-improved version for what it's worth.
  16. To be fair, he can probably hit it if it's 5½ yards away...
  17. He really needs to get in the weight room. He doesn't have that much fat, so putting on five to ten pounds of muscle should be pretty easy if he's on the right nutrition program.
  18. No backhanded compliments! If Lamar Jackson was on the 49ers and did everything that Purdy did on Sunday, people would be saying that he's the next best thing since sliced bread. That goes for Josh Allen also (but people already give him his praise...)
