  1. An anonymous NFL GM is estimating that somewhere within five years, the league will allow weed. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2447390-nfl-gm-believes-30-to-40-percent-of-2015-draft-class-smoke-marijuana-regularly I am somewhat skeptical, as the league seems hypersensitive to public pressure, and I could also see goody two-shoes congressmen trying to be a hindrance. But, I am all for it, not just for the NFL, but for everyone. Free weed! Now I don't smoke, but I don't see how you booze can be legal, and pot can't. I am sure that Goodell would earn some brownie points (maybe even the kind that Bacarri Rambo ate) if he gets the NFL to allow pot. As of now, I guess teams will continue feigning public disappointment and/or outrage.
  2. This Joe Menzer fella has put out a couple of nice pieces that speak to the pulse of Gettleman.
  3. You're talking about the NCAA's all-time leading pass catcher. Hardy has better hands than Brown. He is a willing and better blocker. And, most importantly, he is an infinitely better route runner that knows how to create separation which results in nice YAC. Brown, not so much. There is a reason why Hardy will likely be drafted in round 3 or 4, and Brown went undrafted altogether.
  4. I like this draft. Actually, I would love this draft provided that we pick up another receiver like Josh Harper, Dezmin Lewis, or Deandre Smelter later. It would even be better if we would add Clayton Geathers, Ray Drew, Senquez Golson or Damian Swann also.
  5. Hardy will be long gone by the 5th, and a receiver with good route running, hands, and ability to get separation and move the chains fits any offense.
  6. My goodness! The presumptuousness of some Huddlers is ludicrous. Really, people.
  7. Gettleman has proven that he knows what to do with our higher round draft picks. Until he proves otherwise, I don't see why anyone would get angry or disappointed. He knows and sees more than anyone one of us about football and team building. He is the one with the bigger picture and plan. This is not a case of fool me one, twice, or even three times. He has done enough to earn your trust so far. If people are angered or disappointed, particularly before they see the result of a particular pick, then it's simply because they want to be.
  8. His hands are average according to scouting reports, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
  9. L O L Not gonna happen...at least not like that. If we pick Smith with some of these other guys on the board, I will need a chin strap on Thursday because my jaw will hit the floor, and probably stay that way for hours. Can't be dragging my chin on the floor.
