  1. Better than a ham sandwich, and I haven't had lunch.
  2. Save your breath. The haters gonna hate because that's what they do.
  3. There used to be a time when Huddlers talked up mediocrity. Now, they're ballyhooing sub-mediocrity. PJ ain't it. Just accept it! If he's better than Darnold, then the Panthers have profound problems.
  4. If he wants to coach somewhere, then fine. Let's be serious; This is Luke Kuechly; he can likely further his career any way he wants, without wearing Bills team apparel.
  5. Nah, he's not obliged. Jack Lambert and Jack Ham would've never done any sh¡t like that. No, sir!
  6. I don't think we should kick him to the curb without a backup plan. But, it's the same thing with the backup QB: the best options are available in March and April. IMO, we should've been looking to upgrade during the first part of the offseason. Even if Slye is mediocre (which I think he's a little below that, but that's really not worth arguing), the days of the team and us fans willingly accepting mediocrity should be over. I could be wrong, but I have a hard time believing that out of all the kickers in the land that are available, none are better than Joey Slye. Cuts are the next obvious window that may offer an upgrade.
  7. He was a little rough on the edges, but as he grows into his role, I see potential greatness.
  8. I thought we--as in the Huddle--had gotten past the days of embracing mediocrity. It appeared as though Rhule was changing the culture and it was rubbing off on people. I think that he has to a large degree, but he hasn't done it perfectly. But there's no need to grasp ahold of the imperfections.
  9. Slye doesn't instill confidence in the slightest. No way the team should go into the season like that. Based on last year's stats, alone, he should've been jettisoned. 80.6% at FGs, ranked 23rd 91.7% at XPs, ranked 20th We can do better than Slye.
  10. I'm not going to put the last nail in the coffin on Grier until I see him play with the twos. He deserves his day in the sun.
  11. Of course there isn't any better in August, but there was better in March...Not to mention the draft.
  12. D.J. Moore, Marshall & Smith have 4.4 speed. That's good speed.
  13. Anderson is faster than Moore on paper and in the game. He has a noticeably higher gear than Moore in open space.
  14. That's positive spin by Cat Crave! TMJ and Haynes were the only "shining" stars.
  15. The only real thing that this game pointed to was the lack of sufficient depth, but fans across the NFL are likely complaining about the same thing. I've said it before: Rhule doesn't seem to like to churn the QB room as much as at other positions. I'll add kicker to that. As such, I'm getting more concerned about his talent evaluation at some of the most important positions of the game. He hasn't lost me yet though. The play calling was a little suspect, but perhaps they were just looking to evaluate certain things amid the vanilla.
  16. That was a great pass! I wish we'd see that on a consistent basis.
  17. I'm just imagining him versus the ones. I think he's outclassed by any personnel worth a damn. He has happy feet, seems a little frenetic in the pocket at the slightest bit of pressure and is unable to calm down enough in order to throw accurate passes on any consistent basis.
  18. I'm not going to go overboard, but he looks decent. Will have to see more. He's already a better blocker than Thomas. Tremble is a work in progress.
  19. The third string D making that boy look like Mahomes
  20. He looked like he was either in shock, or didn't know where he was.
