  1. Yeah, they allow the train to go off the tracks when they are the ones steering it.
  2. You don't need a high IQ to figure out that this thread needs to be locked. Or, maybe you do...
  3. You don't have to be Nostradamus to know what's coming.
  4. I swear I was going to say the exact same thing, except I would have used "grizzled" as opposed to "crusty".
  5. If we can keep it up next week I'll be impressed.
  6. I don't know why y'all are getting on Paradis. He held up pretty well considering what was to his left and right.
  7. The announcers said the exact same thing LG said
  8. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2021/8/24/22639041/justin-tucker-would-be-shocked-if-jake-verity-is-not-on-a-week-1-roster-somewhere-ravens
  9. Damn, I didn't realize we were at the 33. Where is Riverboat Rhule when you need him? /Sarcasm
  10. I mean, Santoso wasn't terrible, he just doesn't instill the confidence that you need in an NFL kicker for a franchise that's been in kicker purgatory for several years. He's shaky.
  11. Arnold is what he's always been, and that's not a superstar but good depth. He's just too light naturally to mix it up with hogs. He's a red zone WR.
  12. Take one: I don't believe we are set at TE, regardless of the Darnold-Arnold connection, the drafting of Tremble or the other (ongoing) experiment that is Ian Thomas. Ricci...? Ha ha! We need to offer something to the Browns for David Njoku. They don't need him. Hell, that being said, I'm not sure we need him if Brady is not going to use him. Rhule and company may not value the position like past Panthers coaches. We have a TE by committee that creates one Frankenstein. Not one is complete. Arnold is light in the ass and really can't block. Ian Thomas is the size, but just appears like he's stuck in mud when he's moving, and...he can't block AND has had sketchy hands (and, no, that misse today wasn't his fault). Tremble is young and inexperienced, so who knows what he's going to do? He ain't doing anything soon though. TE is perhaps the most difficult position to learn on offense (outside of QB of course). And, he really doesn't have any active player in Charlotte of what a complete TE looks like. Take two: For the love of God, Brady needs to learn fast--and maybe Rhule too--how to use a fuging big, strong back near the goal line (or even to move the chains on short yardage sometimes). I don't know if they're scared of our own O-line to get a push or what, but running CMC into the pile at the goal line is dumb! You claimed Rolls Royce, now you need to drive the motherfuger at the goal line!
  13. Same thing I said in the game thread: you have to test those corners. I wasn't a fan of the play calling. Just seemed to take the foot off the gas and go to Fox Ball (or Rivera play-not-to-lose mode). Our offensive philosophy got it done against the Jets , but most teams would've made us pay and kicked our ass.
  14. He may just be one of the best ever to play the game, and that's not hyperbole.
  15. The WFT needs to sign him. The Harvard grad out already. Maybe it's nothing serious
  16. Marquise Haynes is the most underappreciated guy on defense.
