This has everything to do with Darnold and nothing to do with Moore. Darnold needs to stop forcing the ball, and go through his progressions.

Honestly, he should've hoped that we win, but suspected that we lose. That was a tough order with Horn and CMC out (and still not overwhelmingly promising with them in).

I mean, I believe in us too, but people need to have realistic expectations and a reasonable timeline. Give us a couple of more seasons.

OK, I underappreciated that SOB Perryman. He would have been much more impactful on our defense. fug him though.

We got beat in the trenches on both sides of the ball. The surprise was our defense got manhandled. I think it was a combination of losing Horn, and Snow not having any--much less, the same--trust in Melvin and Bouye (while CJ gets up to speed), so he didn't make the necessary adjustments to stop the run. It was chicken poo defense against a good line (that was holding). Well, we're not there yet, but we're moving in the right direction. If we meet them again, we may get a different outcome with Henderson and Bouye more seasoned within our system (and CMC back...and maybe some max protect for Darnold).

This game is low-key a couple of notches below the Super Bowl abd a notch below the conference championship game for me. A victory against the Cowboys will make me a happy man. Such is the depth of hate that I have for the Cowboys and especially their faithful blowhards who constitute Cowboy nation.

Of course he was... Slye needs to master his craft, point blank. If he can't do that, then he's just wasting his time. And the same can be said for all the sub par kickers.
