  1. It absolutely matters. Experience at identifying defenses, mechanics and accuracy matters for a QB...Not to mention that these franchise QBs like Brady and Rodgers call their own plays at the line. In my estimation, saying that it doesn't matter isn't really being truthful to the situation at hand. Our line isn't stellar, but indicisiveness, if not outright confusion makes it appear worse than it really is.
  2. Kyle INT Allen was not better than Teddy Bridgewater.
  3. I didn't think it would be this bad so early though. A loss to the 1-5, beat up, Gettelman-designed Giants is as bad as it gets. I expressed that we were arguably a bottom 10 team last week, but I suspected we were bottom 5. I still didn't think we'd lose to a Giants team without Barkley, Golladay, Shepard and Toney. We not only lost, but we got beat down! And our QB room is the sum of all fears.
  4. I not only wanted Minshew after we got Darnold, I wanted him before we ever got Darnold.
  5. I mean, if you're gonna suck, you might as well suck all the way.
  6. Darnold threw a terrible pass to Hubbard and panicked the next play.
  7. Serious question: if the damned Cleveland Browns don't want to give him a huge contract, then why should we? He's not a true franchise QB in my opinion--actually in many peoples' opinions. He cannot put an imperfect team on his back and drag them to victory when things go a little bit south. You're not going to win because of him, you're only going to win with him provided everything else is going damned near perfectly.
  8. Not a fan of reactionary mid season firings, particularly for a relatively young team and couching staff in what is essentially year two of a rebuild. BTW, we were never as good as some thought we were. We're arguably a bottom 10 team ourselves even though no one wants to hear it. Plus, this is the NFL and "any given Sunday..."
  9. That's an outright lie. Anyone who follows football knew who Anderson was while he was on the Jets before Sam ever arrived. Robby was a UDFA that came into the league and made a name for himself pretty early on as he played himself onto the field as a legit starter. You don't even have to really know his story, all you have to do is look at his production. He came into the league exceeding expectations, and really hasn't been in the best of situations regarding QBs. BTW, it was Rhule's plan to use Robby as more than just a deep threat when he was signed, as he had shown some potential to be more than a deep threat within the Jets offense the last year or two that he was there. All you had to do was listen to interviews around when Robby was signed.
  10. Robby's contract is decidedly average. And, no, not caring isn't in Robby's DNA.
  11. His days as our starter--anybody's starter, are numbered. He's destined to be our backup.
  12. Yeah, not getting separation my ass. I knew you wouldn't believe me, but maybe you'll believe Next Gen Stats. Robby wasn't all there last game for sure, but he's better than many here give him credit for. As has been said, he hasn't just forgotten how to play receiver.
  13. I can't help it; I'm thinking within the context of trading CMC. Chuba can't catch a cold. His blocking is suspect also (but I'll give him a rookie pass on the blocking).
