The moment the Panthers decided Cam would be called.

What other way am I supposed to take the OP? It's not all that was said, but the first paragraph says it all. "I’m just gonna go ahead and mark this trade under FAILURE. It was a total knee jerk move to replace Jaycee Horn and it has failed. "
-
It was a thought-out, well-informed trade. There's no guarantee that any of our guys, except for Horn, will be with us within the coming months. Plus, why would you give up on a young player so damned soon? When you think about, it makes no sense.
-
I don't even know why it has to be said. The richest team owner in the NFL (and the poorest team owner in the NFL) isn't worried about a coach's contract in terms of firing coaches when the time comes. They have the money to pay them off.

Darnold Fractured Scapula on throwing shoulder

It was a sh¡t move! I'm still trying to like Rhule, but he's starting to look like a rat. -
Hell, I have kinda half checked out because I didn't even know we had waived him. Damn. Well, none of this makes any difference.
-
Rhule can be fired at any time. It's a matter of Tepper pulling the trigger. All he has to do is pay Rhule what he owes him.
-
LOL on the last part. Fug that M-F-er, I wanted the Fanatics dude. On an off note, I just realized that Credit One is one of the reasons that my credit score is 700+. They took a chance. So I'm sorry for calling Navarro an M-F-er. Still preferred the Fanatics dude though.
-
So much for the "football guys", it seems Tepper was right. Can you imagine how he's feelin? I bet he's just like a steam engine whose pressure gauge is in the red. That bald head is probably Devil red, and it ain't from sunburn.
-
Please expound! I have been informed that Tepper was allowing the football guys to do their thing without interference. I was also informed that Tepper wanted Justin Fields, so do tell.
-
Yeah, I've thought that on the down low.
-
Right...But they have to play like they're in the NFL. Granted, Sam has made them look worse running around holding onto the ball way too long.

Teddy B I’m sorry, it wasn’t all your fault!

Like Dirty Harry says, "A man's gotta know his limitations." Darnold obviously doesn't know his. Give me a competitive game of football over a trainwreck any day. Darnold doesn't have the aptitude to be a signal caller! He hasn't shown the competency to even be a game manager because his decision-making is abysmal. No way I'd rather watch Darnold! -
It's a fuging bear.

Considering what we gave up for him, Darnold was a worse deal. And I doubt we'll be making the number 1 pick. -

Darnold was a top 3 pick that, in conjunction with the Jets, hoodwinked us and others into thinking that he was somehow better than what he put on tape--so much so that we gave up not only a second but a fourth round draft pick for him. And, we gave him an extension because our HC AND our GM, the scouting gurus, had everyone thinking that Darnold had some untapped potential to be a franchise QB. Clausen was just another failed rookie QB who was in over his head. And he wasn't even a first rounder. He had way less expectations than Darnold. -

Sam is more disappointing than Pickles, even if Clausen was worse under center. -
Just par for the course.

The time for implosion was the loss against the Giants.
-
If nothing else, Fitterer needs to be a real GM and not just a Rhule lackey.

Our FO fleeced itself, on several levels. What a suspect trade that has proven to be bad. And to put a cherry on top, they extended Darnold before the draft.
