If you're interested on where he's from, how he got to the NFL, and what he's generally about, here you go. You guys are a piece of work. You seem to just want to complain. Everything isn't necessarily going to work out (which should be obvious). You guys really need to be patient with Morgan. He was hired into a tough spot. -

He's signing with them. -
Forget who was talking about Mixon (not that we needed him), but he's being traded to the Texans. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/bengals_make_surprising_decision_on_rb_joe_mixons_future/s1_13132_40096972

Yeah I had heard this yesterday. I hope that we can get him. He would be a quality addition. You don't have to worry about his motor. Smarter use of resources too. -
As far as Sophomore slumps, Ickey's wasn't even half as bad as many long term LTs in the league. His inconsistency skewed his stats, but a lot of that was due to scheme and coaching. So many of you were talking pure poo about Brown after his second year as well. Now look! You need to chill! Ekwonu has what it takes, just let the kid develop!
-
Why? We have a younger, faster version. Mixon hasn't been all that for several years now. He is productive due to the volume that the Bengals give him, but he hasn't been particularly efficient for years. I'd go with Chuba's upside. Sanders should do better as well with more adept run blocking. I think that a rookie back on day three with power and upside is the way to go.

I mean, some of you were kinda right. You said that we weren't going to get a lot for Burns. Well we got a second and a fifth. So why act like the sky is falling over something you already figured? You've been asking for a rebuild, and the organization to stop trying to put lipstick on a pig. Well, that's what's happening. We've been asking them to fix the line since before Cam got hurt. Now that we're actually doing it, all you have is complaints. You said yourself that Bryce was going to get his shot this year whether we liked it or not. That's what's happening, so why act surprised? You said that we can't fix everything overnight, but you're whining about fixing things incrementally, but fixing things for the long run. The plan is in place. We're fixing the O-line. There is no chance of competing with a bad one. We're rebuilding it from the inside out, which is exactly what we're trying to do. Being that we can't fix everything necessarily how we want it, it looks like we're going to roll with Chuba, Tremble and Sullivan, Mingo, etc., but remember that we still have more money and especially the draft. We'll likely be thoughtful when building what we can this year, especially in how it relates to protecting Bryce and providing him adequate weapons. Whatever isn't addressed this year will be addressed in the future.

Yeah, there's a whole lot of hand wringing over depth players who have proven to be just OK. Yetur never lived up to what we thought that he could be.

Tim Donnelly told us this might happen. We're shifting resources to the offense and are going to try to win some shootouts. We'll invest in defense heavily in 2025.

Damn it! Dorance Armstrong is signing with Washington.

Always a possibility. But I'd guess that both OKC and San Antonio already have music and multiple ticketed events...

Kalil had a history of sucking. You're talking about a top 10, if not top five guard in the league. I doubt that he's trying to cash it in during the prime of his career. I hope you're not doing this, but some on here are chosing to believe things that simply don't make sense or very unlikely, all to support a woe-is-me attitude or a narrative that our FO (even a new one) is doing everything wrong. It's got to be miserable seeing the Panthers that way.
-
Cool. He's a Panthers fan. I didn't even know that he was from North Carolina.
-
I disagree. I've already explained why I think it makes plenty of sense. But y'all carry on complaining about rebuilding.
-
Well, you don't go into a rebuild saying, "We're going to suck for five years!" You don't necessarily go in half stepping on the O-line either. Moreover, you must take that excuse out of the equation for your QB, much less your prized number one overall QB. As far as I'm concerned, it's about damned time that we prioritize the O-line. A bad O-line is the scourge of any team.
-
It's a byproduct of Scott Fitterer. No need hanging onto it.

Gem free agents aren't necessarily going to be cheap free agents. We just got one of the best guards in the league.
