  1. The exact same average as Sanders last season. Plus, Chuba is still our fastest RB.
  2. I think he'll do good for us. I have to wonder about his blocking because Philly wasn't using him to the extent that I would've expected. He can be electric, especially if he gets in the open field. On an off note, I think some of you hate Chuba just because Rhule drafted him. He's underrated here. Yes, his hands aren't that great, but last season--you know, the season where we got an O-line--his average YPC was the same as Miles' (4.9).
  3. Yeah, I knew we'd make a run at Campbell. If he signs, he'll be one of the ones I picked. Now, I'll just wait to see if the other shoe drops (the other oft-injured WR in the early years of his career with upside).
  4. Nice, smart value signings. I don't care what the Debbies say. And it's not like we're done.
  5. The "gingers." Never heard that term before this thread, but I guess it works.
  6. We know who we want, and that's why we moved up to one. Sure, they're going to play games to see if they can parlay something from nothing, because in the end it's all about value. But we know who we want. All the workouts and pro days aren't going to amount to a hill of beans. Extensive research on these guys has already been done. Our guys are experienced enough that they aren't going to be Zach-Wilsoned.
  7. You obviously haven't kept your finger on the pulse of the Huddle, but that's OK. To be sure, I haven't seen too many people who will be mad if we draft Stroud. I have seen more than a few who will be mad if we draft the small-framed Young. But you have the right to believe what you want.
  8. I'd keep my expectations low if I were you. Year one of new administration, rookie QB...Just saying.
  9. Not really. It seems like the crazies are the Stroud lovers, and if we pick Young, you'll see.
  10. I have seen that local reporters were pushing back against that rumor.
  11. AR's receivers can't catch balls 4 ft over their outstretched arms.
  12. I mean, that's all fine and good, but it would depend upon who else is available. It's all about value. This draft is extremely deep for TEs, so.you can probably get one in a later round.
  13. To answer the question though, I love how we've played this. We have put ourselves in a position to get a franchise QB at the worst. The rest is just smoke and mirrors depending upon what/who we can live with. I mean, if you pick up a franchise QB AND a extra pick, how can you get mad about that?
  14. That's what I think, although I would imagine that if we are sure that we can get something for nothing and still get our guy that we might do it.
  15. I'm not gonna lie, I was about 60-40 Young before I saw Stroud almost crash the Bulldog's coronation as the preeminent football program in the country. I was like damn. Don't get me wrong, I thought that Georgia's defense was just off, but Stroud did his thing. I was like maybe 55-45. Then Stroud showed out at the Combine, which is indicative to me as a continuation of a rising-to-the-occasion---coming out at the right time. As a result I may just be about 50-50 now (maybe even 45-55 at times). But, at the end of the day, I'll be happy to draft either.
  16. I'll be 56 this year also. That you say this means something. I would've only said that about Stafford (and I would've been right). Though, I won't say it about Stetson Bennett (I can't take anything away from him). I think he's worth getting drafted.
  17. I am not only a Georgia fan, but a Georgia alum,---for all the good it's done me, but that's another issue (Georgia can't help that I turned into a largely free spirited Bohemian).
  18. Oh, OK. I had to ask. On an off note, I'd be mildly shocked if we don't at least talk to Parris Campbell considering his knowledge of Reich's offense, as well as his decidedly untapped potential. Moreover, I won't lie, I'm hoping that we can sign the other D.J. that people have forgotten about (the one that's been somewhat banged up during the start of his career, but honestly probably has near the upside of Moore and is actually faster).
  19. That's true. That's why I loved Hooker's response to a question about him playing in Tennessee's scheme.
  20. Now that's a post that I can appreciate, as well as think is probably true. Asor me, I'm just going to be happy with either one (at the pole or even second position). At the end of the day, we're all amateurs simply guessing. Fitt and company are guessing too, but they get paid handsomely to make these decisions. So I'll be happy with the pick, unless history proves otherwise. And I'm not even saying that we have to get the best QB in the class, but whatever QB we pick better be up to franchise-level when all is said and done. We can't afford a Zach Wilson-esque screw up.
  21. Is that a rhetorical question with a hint of sarcasm, or a legit question?
  22. Yes, he missed a game against Akron due to a shoulder injury.
