For me it just comes down to whether or not, Reich, Fitt, and the Teppers (yes, wifey will have considerable input) believe that Young's size outweighs all the other tangibles and intangibles that he possesses. He has been excellent in the undisputed best conference, and he has really demonstrated durability throughout his collegiate career playing in that conference, so I'm thinking that from an intellectual perspective that he is the pick. If he isn't, or if he isn't enough to turn down a few extra draft picks, I'm good with that also because there's a lot to like about Stroud's smoothness in the pocket. But at this point, I think we're taking Young unless the Texans blow us away.

Going after Rodgers would make many many things that Fitt and Reich said today very much bullsh¡t, so I don't believe Aaron is in our future in the slightest bit.

I think that he's more ideal than Hardman. The only reason that I can think of why Chark isn't ideal is that he hasn't stayed healthy. But, if he gets over the injury bug, he has that WR1-high end 2 upside. I just don't see Hardman as a WR1 under any circumstances. I don't quite understand why some people are blowing him up. He's a WR3 on most rosters. He's an upgrade to Shi Smith on ours.

This is undoubtedly his time to shine--sh¡t or get off the pot.

I don't have confidence, it's all hope. He has a little juice, and this will be year three---new coaches, new QB, and being hidden by Moore's shadow won't be a problem.

I would laugh in their face. If anything, Jeudy underperformed. He has never lived up to the hype. Plus, he has a little bit of an injury history. A second or a player at most.

Making a big-to-do about Young's size is played out as well as far as I'm concerned. Each player and each situation is different. As for Stroud, it's easier to appear great when you have lesser competition. Will he be that great when that NFL talent l pressuring him week in and week out? And what about his lack of vocality (some might say leadership)? Look I have no dog in the fight. I will happily accept either of the two. But, I've read the scouting reports and am very aware that but for size, there wouldn't even be a discussion. But for all the talk, Young played more games in a much tougher conference, and only missed one game, just like Stroud.

If you don't know who you're trading up for, then you don't have "conviction," and Fitterer said that that's a must. For me, it's as simple as that. You don't trade up hoping or guessing or researching, you move up already knowing.

People keep saying that Sanders is a three-down back, but Philly didn't really use him as one. His blocking is not great. We'll see what happens here. He's more versatile and much more explosive than Foreman. Chuba is a little smaller, but faster (and maybe even a tad more explosive). His hands aren't nearly as good though. I think Chuba is a good backup for Sanders actually. He may even be more prone to hit the hole and go, whereas Sanders may be more prone to try and hit the corner. I think that both have sneaky power, so hopefully we'll be able to get that short yardage, but it remains to be seen.

Tepper hired the wrong dude and everyone started calling him names. I never did. First of all, patience is required while someone is learning (unless you want to drive yourself crazy and create all kinds of premature judgments). And secondly, unless you believe that Tepper is a liar, you had to know that he wasn't going to let the Panthers spiral forever. There is little doubt in my mind that he's going to get the team straight, and once he does, it's going to stay that way.
