This has been real hard on older Panther fans. They took our enjoyment and smashed it because it wasn’t perfect, and in their hubris build something that I cannot stand to watch. I t has been going on for 6 years and I don’t think as lot of people will be alive to see a winner if that even ever happens again. Looks at least another 6 years of this poo.

Obvious self defense.,

Close. They missed a few opportunities to catch a Bryce thrown ball.

Bryce is gonna make some girl a great husband. He is a very polite young man,. Don’t rush me I’m thinking…..

I disagree with you on a lot but not that.

Technically, it used to.

I think next year could be worse if we don’t fire everyone and go all out expansion team. Oh wait. That was this year. Yeah, we are there probably but I think they win tonight and it gives the high rolling longshot traders a bit more false hope. True rock bottom is coming with winter. And if you don’t swallow the latest line of bullshit, maybe as late as April 25th.

Chris Canty buries Tepper on the radio this morning
stratocatter replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you can tell me Canty, one time, cross your heart and hope to die, that you, having played in the NFL, scouted a 5’ almost 10” maybe 185lb kid with an average arm and average footspeed, and evaluated him to be taken where he was taken? For real? This whole deal smells like CIA school. Run a trial propaganda op, see how far they can get with it. If they can sell this kid as the number one, worth a HAUL, then they can sell their candidate in some third world county. -
A thought I had about Scott while taking a sh*t

Fine, but they should, if conditions indicate/something does not click with the QB by midseason year 2, be given a chance to have another QB run the team so that maybe we could get a look at what the offense was supposed to look like. If it was supposed to look like this? There are a whole bunch of contracts that need to be litigated. -
Yeah that’s IT! The Staff is Failing Young. Great. Settled. Bring in another coach and watch him shine. Glad it is that easy. While we are at it… we could also say the opposite. He is failing the team and the staff. Bring in another QB. I mean, they already had to go to the wristband (and all that that implies). Which do you guys think would bring quicker improvement? I am waiting the few seconds it will take for someone to post some more strawman poo.

I promise, no argument from me. Looks like you know enough about it for the both of us.

Yeah. TEs feast also.

I wouldn’t be opposed to that type of policy. NCAA has done a poo job training OL forthe pro game the last however many years. Drafting Tackles especially has become a guessing game of projections and extrapolation. Edit: I understand it is not the NCAA’s job to train people for an NFL career, but effectively, that is what it is.

The one possible attempt at a silver lining (?)
stratocatter replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
I guess people think these players don't see the clown show they are supporting cast members in? It affects them. -
Hate to point out, the plan at WR was committee of JAGs and The Processor

Thy were tripling down begging to throw the money (picks) away. No concept of this guy as a long shot, physically, or the idea that if you bet a long shot you better cover it with a place or show bet. IOW no concept of the almost exponential risk of doing ALL that to move 8 slots. I watched Levis play the other day, he flicked his wrist he doesn't need a running start. I could have waited a few slots for a QB if it meant still having "money" in the bank to spend in the multiple drafts we impacted.

There was tangible ‘bad’ in the team that fisrt game. And I am a huge don’t put stock the the first game, in a new year, but it was shocking to me. It didn’t look like anyone wanted to win anything. Like it was all some laboratory in which they could tune their quarterback for his real mission which won’t come for a few years.

Reich doesn’t think there is any chance Burns plays Thursday
stratocatter replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. That stood out and should. I got distracted forgot to mention it, it is pretty telling. -
If the trajectory of these players does not change, it will take longer than 20 years to stop hearing about the screwup.

Evidence of Tepper meddling in football operations?
stratocatter replied to TeppersEgos's topic in Carolina Panthers
There are a ton of correlations to his meddling. I get what you are saying but it has been there. That QB meddling was real. That Rivera hey Ron, what about a 3-4 this year? Out of the blue. Coaching change this year? 3-4. And also surely we all would meddle too, we all know it. Even those who understand how much we don’t know, would meddle. Keep this player, I like him. Check. We really need to sign this guy. Check. I like Chuba Hubbard. Check. Lol. Turned out okay. Let her GM, she couldn’t be that much worse than her meal ticket, err Husband. Or Fitterer.
