  1. Beat me to it. I don’t think being sent to California is something I’d be happy about.
  2. Well, Bandu, peoplre are starting to see the insanity. Recognize it I should have said. We are in the tear it down phase, IOW the demolition of his former boss’s home. Tepper doesn’t realize his symptoms, but others do. He is now tearing down our house. Edit: okay, I am kidding. But it makes you think, right?
  3. People are gonna hate me I know, but I get no leadership vibe from Young. People are gonna like me I know, but I get no leadership vibe from Reich.
  4. Better pass blocking from the running backs. And yes better balance. The person who said more time left on the play clock, that is a good one to hope for.
  5. Short yardage, Foreman. All day over anyone we have. This is a team that is afraid to have their QB run a sneak, I’d say short yardage is a black hole about now.
  6. It is good to see a veteran NFL QB so we can calibrate what we see from one that is trying to be one. Maybe we can better gauge how new guy is doing. Same offense same players around him. After 5 losses, take a break and watch the vet with one loss. My feeling is that Dalton would look night and day better but if he doesn’t I’d feel better about the rookie. So win win.
  7. We got our next guard, we need a LT. But I don't hardly care what they do, as I don't trust a single principal player in this regime to make a right decision. Talk to me about serious matters when there are smart people in charge.
  8. Yeah. When I saw that my next thought was everyone wants a deep threat but that isn'tywhat would pay off. That YAC is the only game in town, playing in such compressed and self imposed boundaries such as they have been doing.
  9. 1st, not my job to deal with it. it is their job, and I am complaining about dereliction of common sense in gambling. Lol. Anyhow, no he will only get on scales after ballooning himself up and everyone knows that is what he did. You can look at him on the field and at Alabama (finally, a still relevant use for his college tape ha). It really is disingenuous to pretend you do think he weighs close to 209, or not 184 or maybe okay 186, he is factually freaking smaller than Brees. By a percentage and that is going to stay relative. It is a totally valid point and it doesn't fit what you want things to be. That's about it. Next there is nothing that says to be a fan a person has to blindly blindly praise what is looking like a clusterfug of the highest order. I am not emotionally attached to this player, so many seem to be. "as long as he wears that jersey". How noble of you. Does TMJ or Icky or Sanders, or CJ or Fitt or Reich, or any other underperforming Panther get the same pledge? And the 2" it may or may not have been noted that I only made mention of the height difference and did not extrapolate but it is definitely there and it is definitely a fact that Young is not a one to one comp with Drew Brees. It's not that close and if you would open your mind and look at what I am trying to illustrate, it could be helpful. And please do go ahead and define that as my opinion, if that makes you feel better.
  10. So impatient. And spurred on by an impatient society.
  11. Need some real and honest competition at that position moving forward if we expect to win games, but will pass on Fields. If this current quarterback doesn't improve by year's end then just draft or sign another one and let them honestly compete. Rinse and repeat until you are satisfied with your QB room. If the kid could win an honest competition, I'd feel much better about him. That goes for every quarterback, and every position. But he couldn't beat out Dalton though, I don't think, this year.
  12. I believe he is learning, but he is making new mistakes and has to go through his process lol and learn these lessons one by one, he is far from finished. He won't learn from others, he has to see for himself. Hold his beer.
  13. Won't quibble about HOF Payton the coach, will quibble about a 30lb and 2 inch height advantage and Was the previous outlier, himself. Young is in a brand new even lesser "class". Maybe this will expose this lazy comparison and help people understand what this really is. Calling Young, Brees, again... if you folks continue to insist, here we go. Brees 6'0 209lbs Young 5'10" 184. We know that combine weight is bullshit. He isn't even that. There is a 25lb difference. 25lbs of 184lbs... pretty easy to figure. It is basically 12%. A 12% 'gift' from his admirers. My heart is warmed by the generosity. That is what it takes to level your man Bryce up with Brees in a physical comparison. Now here is the thing: if you give Brees the same 12% while no one is looking? Well, 12% of 209 is 25.08. So, that is 234lbs! That is how much of a cheat the claim that he is Brees, is.
  14. Hey, Troy Aikman sucked his rookie year. Never mind multitudes of others who also sucked as rookies. And were out of the league within a short time frame. They never bring those guys up.
  15. I have been looking for that leap. Point it out please. What I saw in a very quick roll through a condensed Miami game is something related to getting his feet lined up, like if I remember without checking it is he turns to drop, but when he throws he does do some sort of quick thing and presto he is facing downfield. It does sort of look like he leaves his feet for a moment but I am not seeing that as part of his motion. That is btw one thing I remember about Stroud, they were saying he had the most in-synch footwork setting/re-setting in direction of his target. I am not that technical but I can see things. But often don’t know how to articulate what I see. Some of these things like hitches in a swing or motion, the athlete isn’t conscious of doing. So it is hard as hell to change. Footwork is probably the same deal. Good that he has his straight. Always a thing with Cam.
  16. This IS them striking for the jugular. Not quite what you were thinking, I know. But this is what going for the jugular looks like with them.
  17. These are the biggest things I have skepticism over, definitely valid questions that some people are feeling like, have yet to be answered to their satisfaction. So they can look at this situation with less concern. And maybe give them some positivity to keep them warm while watching yet another game where again he does not exhibit evidence that simply having a fast processor is all that is needed. That processor, may not have enough RAM or fast enough hard drive to take advantage of it, but it didn’t seem like the vast majority of fans wanted to focus on any possible negative. This playcaller thing.. I don’t know that simply changing who decides what the play will be makes any player execute better, including QB. Brown had a large hand, we are told, in designing and writing the playbook. Which apparently people don’t like. Maybe Brown had a pocketful of great plays that were rejected by old fossil Reich and now he gets to put them in? What is it that he will do so differently? The only major thing I see that they could do differently is try and stretch the field. I don’t know the reason it is not being done but I have a real hard time turning Reich into some type of idiot the way people are doing. (And I am NOT happy with him much, don’t misinterpret). I think he has a pretty good reason for the way we have been proceeding. I just don’t know what it is and could guess but that does nothing. In a related possible scenario.. odds were always better that the team, with so much 1st time everything, was going to be a work in progress. Really almost like an expansion team, so much is new and untried. So it stands to reason that there will be improvement as the year progresses because that is about the only direction they Can go. Meaning that if Brown has a little better success, it isn’t necessarily going to be because of him, it was sort of an expectation that regardless of who called the play it would be better executed to some degree later in the season. So, grain of salt with crediting the results. If he has some kind of massive success where everything we see is all of a sudden better? I would think you have to look into why with a little different mindset but I don’t expect that and I haven’t seen reason to believe we should expect it. But so many seem to do just that.
  18. I don’t think he is bad and I do feel like he isn’t finished getting his legs back. He is under contract, I’d hold onto him and hope his value solidifies a little higher than it probably is right now.
  19. I don’t get to make trades, the owner locked all transactions when he fired Fitterer, told the coaching staff to pay no attention to salary or draft position, play the best players and figure it out with what you have been given.
  20. so a player that part owns the team, is the coach's boss? Probably not getting cut lol.
  21. I do seatrout and always put the big girls back.
  22. There have been a few. A DT from the '00s maybe, a guard or two for sure.
