  1. The "Come'on man!" at the end was soundboard gold.
  2. The Nick Marshall to CB project intrigues me. He's got the size and athletic ability and could learn under Tillman for a season. Might be worth our 6th or maybe even one of the comp 5ths.
  3. No way Gettleman passes on Shane Ray at 25. He's a blue goose pass rusher, and we all know how Gettleman feels about pass rushers.
  4. @ JAC - W vs HOU - W vs NO - W @ TB - W BYE @ SEA - L vs PHI - W vs IND - W vs GB - L @ TEN - W vs WAS - W @ DAL - L @ NO - W vs ATL - W @ NYG - W @ ATL - W vs TB - W 13-3
  5. I hope (if this rumor is true) that we are looking at moving into to 16 to 20 range to snag Landon Collins. After watching some of his highlights, I truly believe he can be like Kuechly in that 3 years from now people will wonder how he went outside the top 5 picks. With Benji, Gettleman said you can't teach 6'5" 240, and with Landon it's you can teach defensive instinct.
  6. Gettleman goes full BPA (Never go full BPA) and drafts a QB in the first 4 rounds. Not saying I want it to happen, but you asked for bold.
  7. With these comp picks, I would love it if we were able to move our actual 5th or 6th to move up in the 3rd for a guy like Phillip Dorsett or Tyler Lockett. I know a #2 receiver is what we need, but even over Philly or Ginn, either of those guys could secure our slot position for years to come.
  8. I can tell you exactly who our Tiffany buys are going to be over the next 4 years. Their names are Cam, Luke, Star, Kawann and Kelvin.
  9. Nope, Roman Harper. Ed Dickson and Chase Blackburn have rings too if we re-sign them.
  10. Nope, just a dude who thinks that this was a bad football decision. It seems that you and a a lot of people disagree, and that's ok. Whatever, Zod. You run a fine website, sir, but I think you and this whole "Hooray, we cut Williams" hype train are wrong on this one. Time will tell, I suppose. "Hey everyone, come point and laugh at this idiot who thinks cutting Deangelo was a bad idea. What a loser! Hahahaha!"
  11. Not sarcasm at all. I just disagree with the general consensus around here that Deangelo is over the hill and deserved to get cut. I think he would have been fine depth this year. The fact of the matter is we're paying over 10 million dollars in dead money between Smith and Williams not to play for us next year. I'm not capologist, but that seems like a bad deal to me. I'd rather have those 2 on the 53 than Cotchery or some 6th round rookie RB.
  12. Man, fug Dave Gettleman. The dude can draft and manage the cap, but he sure does have a knack for releasing some of our best players like Smitty, Beason and D-will and creating a whole bunch of dead money in the process. Having Deangelo on the roster, if only for depth, definitely would have been worth the 2 million or so this will save us against the cap. I hope, if he doesn't retire, Williams goes to a team we play next year so he can kick our ass, à la Smitty last year. Maybe then Gettleman will learn to not release players when they still have something left in the tank, or else next year it might be Kalil or Davis who gets the ax.
  13. Seconded. I'm pretty consistently seeing him as the 3rd OT off the board in mocks which puts him right around in our range. Would be cool to reunite Trai with his old teammate.
  14. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
  15. I've seen the offensive tackle out of LSU, La'el Collins, mocked in the 20s. That said we'll go BPA with Getts and find a stud, I'm sure.
  16. Watch some of his Oregon highlights and tell me he doesn't have vision. He just needs a chance in my opinion. I think if we can get him 4-5 carries/targets a game, he can have an impact.
  17. Interesting that Zack Williams got cut. He started some games form us last year, right? I guess this means the coaches like what they're seeing in Bruce Campbell, Kugbila and Byers. Edit: Nevermind, I was thinking of Gary Williams.
