Burns wants prime Von Miller money and Reddick is better. Point is Burns is replaceable for cheaper. -

Burns always disappears for long stretches and is a liability against the run. As I just mention to Camwhoaacam Haason Reddick was a better player and could have been retained for far less. -

Reality is Haason Reddick is a better player then Burns. He is the one that should have been retained. -

Depends on your philosophy. We don't have 1st round picks either and we need to build a team for Bryce over the next 2 years to maximize his rookie deal. We also have to pay Brown. While I like Burns I don't think he is elite yet. I think his production can be replaced for less than what he is asking for. Burns is no Peppers and we should have traded Peppers after it was clear we weren't going to get him signed, because we ended up losing him for nothing because we kept him on perpetual franchise tags. -

I like Burns but he should be a Ram right now. -
Most fans are in a wait and see mode. Ok, we got a new quarterback and a new coach. That's happened before and didn't yield results. I understand why people are being emotionally cautious with the franchise. The changes look great on paper, but it needs to translate to the field.

Imagine a loss so bad that it tanks the huddle. lol.

They had to do this after 28-3.

It’s not going to be cheap to retain Derrick Big Baby Brown

We should just draft another tackle to replace in next years draft and solve that problem. -
I knew signing him over Norwell was a mistake at the time.

No disrespect to AE but he didn't bring anything onto the field. Most NFL players can hire coaches if they need help during the off season. While there is no doubt his career was mismanaged, the same thing happens to half the players in the league. I remember posters on here wanting to see AE cut after year two. He was called Hurney's boy. In my opinion he was given two more years then he actually should have been before he was cut. You would have to think that plenty of the teams that pre draft interviewed Edwards told him they saw him as a receiver. I don't think the position switch caught him by surprise AE didn't leave the Panthers and find success with another team. His game didn't translate unfortunately.

Weaponizing his children for sympathy it sounds like. I can see how some kids probably told his kids that his dad sucks. Likely not an adult.

Evero's defense will be fast and aggressive.

It's that pretty much the key to any successful relationship. -

Yeah and we got absolutely destroyed in the play in game. -

Cheap? There is a difference between being cheap and being prudent. Not signing a player that's led you to the playoffs and performed well once there would be cheap. Not signing a guy who has ultimately had zero impact on your win loss column for 260 mill would be prudent. -

You mean that without him we may not make the playoffs, lol. -
I miss the Bobcats.

Yeah unless it's 3rd and short, 4th and short, or At the goalline inside the 3 yard line.

The blue looks a tad more Detroit Lionish. -
At this point in time, who feels like we lost this trade?
TheMaulClaw replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
It really just depends on Bryce I guess. If he balls out then it's worth it, if he doesn't then it will be the worst trade in organization history. Worse then Sean Gilbert. Let's hope it works out. -
I mean, I'm not hundred percent sure we did get exponentially better with the draft capital that we gave up. It all rides on Bryce, if he fails, we're set back 5 years.

We need a goal scorer not an assist man.

I don't think Aho should be gone, but he makes a lot of money and the playoffs is where he needs to produce. I think he's capped out on potential. I obviously think he's a great player, but he needs to be on a line with some heavy players in order to see success in the playoffs. I think this coming year is the year that Svech should finally be the unquestioned best player on the team. Aho is a great player to have during the regular season. He will help get you to the playoffs, but he won't put you over the hump once there. His game just doesn't translate to playoff hockey the way it does in the regular season. Same for Necas. I thought Jarvis and Fast had the best playoffs out of the skaters.
