Stafford was playing injured so there's that. -
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry asks to rezone property

That puppy is going up right by the team facility. You think SC would completely terraform that area, give up that kind of land, pass a law that gives pro sports teams tax breaks, just so the team can practice here (Im in SC). You think Tepper would commit that sort of money to a complex, and have a vision for retail stores and hotels so people can come walk by a building thats having a closed door practice? That stadium is coming to SC. Im from NC but to those snobby holier than thou types in NC that scoff at a stadium in Rock Hill.....bye. -
I like the idea of Stafford. Obviously cost being equal give me Watson but the cost is so drastically different that Stafford is the sensible choice. We can win with Stafford and still build and add to our team.

2 and then a solid 9 if he's benched.

Yeah a Rozier, Ball, Hayward back court is by far our best combo.

Carolina Panthers Mock Draft Rounds 1 - 3

Just don't see the Lawson trade up. Corner back is too big of a need along with right tackle. -
Top 3 Reasons The Panthers Lost Today
TheMaulClaw replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Most are aware that we win that game with Jstew. Still though...DE production has been down and CJ looks like he lost a step. Combine that with the loss of Benwikere and we've got some problems on D. -

Official Panthers - Giants Gameday Thread
TheMaulClaw replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am concerned about the run game this week. It's not because Fozzy doesn't come across as capable, or as a team we're not capable. It's because I think the coaching staff is going to be cautious with Cam when it comes to running the ball, which I understand. So if we eliminate Stew as a threat, and we're not running Cam we may struggle because we won't have the versatility in the run game. -
Panthers to wear Blue Pants? Here is what it may look like...
TheMaulClaw replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Really want a blue helmet with a silver honeycomb lining with the black logo and silver facemask. -
He poisoned the well to force his release for a chance at one big last payday, and that's what he did. He was just playing the business game and he did a good job. He went to a 4 mill base salary to like 10mil with Baltimore ( 4mil dead money from CAR, 2-3 million dollar signing bonus from BAL, 4 million base from Bal)

You know, they have a right. I'mean I'm not sure if we'very ever beaten them. I'm fairly positive they even beat us during our Superbowl run.

Jonathan Martin Retiring from Football
TheMaulClaw replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sounds a hell of a lot better then Bell and Budet. -
Cho sort of made it pretty clear that Lin would be able to create shots for the second team and specifically mentioned Kamisky. I think that means Zell will start...which he should because he a better defender.

Coming to terms with the Frank Kaminsky pick...
TheMaulClaw replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Pretty harsh. This time last year, we were all pumped up and singing Cho's praises. It didn't work out, he's trying something different. I personally think we're much better now then this time last year. We've got a lot of depth and Batum should be good alongside Kemba. If anything Frank can come in and allow us to phase out MW. -
Coming to terms with the Frank Kaminsky pick...
TheMaulClaw replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Charlotte Hornets
I don't mind the Frank pick. Guy played against tough competition, and played huge against Kentucky. Frank isn't the greatest athlete in terms of combine numbers, but he's got great fluidity, hand-eye, and you can tell he's intelligent with the ball is in his hands. He'll contribute more this year then Vonleh was going too. Cho practically telegraphed this pick by the moves he made in the off season. After getting Batum and Lamb there was no way we were drafting a SG. -

In twenty years, what's your favorite win to date?

NFL Free Agent Collins Cleared as Suspect

I think we're spending a lot of thought power on a guy who clearly seems to be headed somewhere else. -
I agree completely about Oher. I think Corey Brown's progression might be underestimated by a lot of people. He's only going get stronger. He really could be a nice weapon in the slot this year.

Cam was hurt and our Oline was constantly being reshuffled. Based on what I watched last year....I really do feel that the success we saw in the final quarter of the season could be used as a better barometer of what we can expect offensively going into next season. I'm excited about our team and I think we're being built to withstand injuries. I really do feel that our Oline is going to be a lot better then people think. We saw more downfield passing as the season progressed as the Oline could provide better protection. There are few teams that have the sort of cohesion this team will have. For the most part we didn't lose anyone and all we've done is add talent.
