  1. yep, there's a picture of him out there on the interwebs showing him suited up at practice yesterday with a big cast on his hand. Got a feeling he's going to play.
  2. Following reports earlier this week of several Saints assistants testing positive for COVID-19, the team announced which coaches will miss their Week 2 game due to the NFL’s coronavirus protocols. Run-game coordinator and tight ends coach Dan Roushar, offensive line coach Brendan Nugent, wide receivers coach Curtis Johnson, running backs coach Joel Thomas, assistant special teams coach Phil Galiano, offensive assistant Declan Doyle and offensive analyst Jim Chaney will not be with the team for its Week 2 game against Carolina. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2021/09/saints-to-be-without-7-assistants-due-to-covid-19-protocols
  3. scrappy little guy...he impressed me when he came back in our game with the wounded arm. I hope he does well
  4. limited hopefully means not severe, but those things can linger for a month or more.
  5. I know most of us hate Tom while respecting him, but I am amazed at his effort this time Note the time on the clock over his shoulder.
  6. getting back to TD, I agree he's been very good this week. I hope to see more of him on GMF.
  7. funniest man who ever lived, smartest man in the room no matter what room he walked in to. RIP Norm. thanks for everything
  8. I almost started a thread to point our Brady only got 4 snaps last week against the Jets, but the Huddle has enough things to gnash teeth about. Hoping for more soon. And hoping it's not because of injuries, but because he's proven he's better. I understand not wanting rookie OLs to get shell shocked, but I hope we put him in the fast lane to playing more soon.
  9. 99%. He's having surgery, but he did play after the injury last week. I supposed he could come back play with a cast on his hand. Officially considered day to day right now.
  10. Payton doing what Payton does best Karma is a bitch Sean
  11. David Newton @DNewtonespn · 2m Matt Rhule said "it looks like it'll be a surgical matter'' in reference to the wrist injury that will keep nickel back Myles Hartsfield out 8-12 weeks. Sounds like IR.
  12. and we still don't have Bouye this week. Myles was filling in nicely.
  13. https://www.profootballrumors.com/ What a day for Marshon Lattimore. The Saints’ star cornerback suffered a thumb injury against the Bucs on Monday night and will need surgery (via PFT). Of course, this all came hours after he agreed to a five-year, $97.6MM extension with New Orleans. Lattimore mostly played through the pain with a cast on his right hand and finished with three tackles and one pass defensed. Still, he’ll need the issue corrected before he retakes the field. For now, he’s considered week-to-week, but the Saints could consider a short-term injured reserve stint pending the outcome. That would allow Lattimore to return after three missed games and retake the field in Week 5.
  14. ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo Christian McCaffrey now has 7 games with 75 rushing yards and 75 receiving yards. That passes Walter Payton for the 3rd-most since the NFL-AFL Merger (1970). Only Marshall Faulk and Priest Holmes has more such games during that span. Christian is 25 years old.
  15. from the Falcons board.. "Just 228 days till the draft!!"
  16. adding this, I just found out... 3 passes deflected. He had him a damn day.
  17. Shaq today... 10 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tfl, 1 interception.
  18. I wanna see Phil Snow coach the offense. And the special teams.
  19. Tiki Barber is bad at the announcing. Very very bad at the announcing.
