  1. I'm looking forward to it....we're healthy, almost 100% except for those on reserve, Cam played great last week and knows the playbook better. Hopefully our D will adjust so teams can't run right through our front 7. And we match up pretty well against the Dolphins.
  2. done with the turkey, today will be beef on the grill...went by Fresh Market and got a really nice ribeye. That will be accompanied by beer and scotch... we should win this game, really looking forward to seeing more Cam. what's on your table?
  3. well get got the lead for 2 seconds...I think we'll play better and win in the second.
  4. and just like that, Melo reminds me he is a superstar.
  5. looking like crap so far..we need some d and someone to get hot from outside...looking at you Gordon. this is what we pay you for
  6. good to see PJ show up last night, hope he can repeat tonight
  7. great win last night, and we're right back at it tonight. on the road at the 2-16 Houston Rockets...we've 8 of our last 9 and tonight could be our 4th win a row.
  8. Kelly has been so much better than I thought
  9. I have no idea how the Wolves are in the post, hopefully Nick will make the most of the opportunity.
  10. Minnesota tonight as we look for our 5th straight home win. They're a good team on a 5 game winning streak, hope we can find a couple of guys who are feelin it from outside
  11. one of my 5 Thanksgiving traditions... WKRP turkey drop episode (I got the box set) Johnny Carson and Doc Sevrinson talking about Thanksgiving West Wing Butterball Hotline Arlo as mentioned above, and The Last Waltz....got it on dvd.
  12. so happy Cam is back home. Also as a Hornets fan, I'm very happy that LaMelo Ball is in Charlotte....he's given hope to a Hornets franchise that hasn't had any since the current team was formed. He is a joy to watch, a superstar in the making, and someone who wants to win.
  13. man waking up and reading this thread this morning.. I am HONGRY
  14. Christmas will be my way. Period. There will be beef.
  15. damn that last 3 at the end of the buzzer. What has possessed Cody Martin? dude is on fire
  16. lol. However, his account may indeed have been hacked by an imposter. He got the name right.
  17. not that anyone needs another recipe to try for Thanksgiving, but ran across this one years ago and really liked it....easy too. asparagus casserolle I never added the water chestnuts, but the toasted buttered bread is essential for texture and flavor. 2 cans asparagus "drained" 1 large can Lesuer English Peas "do not drain" 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup 1 can water chestnuts 1 stick butter 4 slices white bread. Trim off edges and cut into strips "3 strips per slice" 1/2 lb shreaded cheese "2 cups" (I always used cheddar) Grease a 9x13 dish. Layer asparagus over the bottom of the dish. Mix peas and mushroom soup and pour over asparagus. Layer water chestnuts over mixture. Top with cheese. Dredge strips of bread on both sides in melted butter. Lay bread on top of cheese and bake at 350 deg for 40 min.
  18. road game for Thanksgiving eve, but it's Orlando (4-14 and only 1-6 at home) so we should win. We're healthy. Glad to have Hornet basketball tonight, football tomorrow, and then Hornets game Friday and Saturday. By the way, if you count the things you're thankful on Thanksgiving, be sure to give thanks for LaMelo Ball.
  19. see, I'd love to do a prime rib, but one of my dang sisters does't want that. That vanilla bean whipped sweet potato thing sounds very good, haven't heard of that before.
  20. what's on your table? I'm not a big turkey fan, but tradition rules, so I'll make both smoked and fried (oil less turkey fryer). What I'm looking forward to the most is the dressing and green bean casserolle, and pecan pie. Also very happy to be able to bring out the gravy boat for it's once a year visit to my table. There will be beer and later, scotch. But really grateful that my two sisters and I will be together for our first Thanksgiving in over 15 years. Food, family, football, beer ....it doesn't get much better than that. What are your favorite foods, and traditions (we always have the canned cranberry sauce in honor of our late mom)? Anyone do oyster dressing?
  21. while he's still got some significant recovery time to go, it's great to see him back on the field around the guys...it's a good sign. He surpassed my expectations for a rookie corner....qb's didn't want to throw at him.
  22. Haason and Cam is gonna take a chunk out of our cap, but we can do it. Cap space after next year is huge thanks to finally getting some Hurney contracts off the books: 43 mill (!!!) in dead money will disappear at the end of this year and some good work by Fit and Samir.
  23. same here. Even Dell said he had never seen anything like that before. Postgame Ashley him about it, he said it game from the playground.
  24. here it is...never seen anything like this and I'm an old basketball fan. https://streamable.com/tqwrjv
