Melo loves playing against legends he watched growing up, including Durant and Irving....he plays his best against the best. We may win this game.
-
nice finish to the half...Hornets seem to suddenly want to win. Good gameplan by B, Durant needing a last second layup to get to 10 points, make Kyrie beat us in his first home game and he's 2-9 for 6 pts. There's a chance.
-
they are shooting 23% from 3 and lead by 12 smh
-
^ yep. can't miss free throws like this in a playoff game. kudos to Melo for his rebounding. But we look outclassed tonight. They get too many O-rebounds and their D-rebounds lead to too many uncontested or barely contested fast breaks.
-
starting to get away from us...every bounce going their way

At The Hive @At_The_Hive · 1h Regardless of the result of Heat vs Nets tonight, the winner of tomorrow's Hornets/Nets game will take ownership of the 8 seed and own the tiebreaker for the remainder of the season. It might as well be a playoff game.

per Mike Clay. Was hoping our OL would be higher with the two recent signings.
-
and a win. wasn't easy, we played well enough at the end.
-
Hum diddley dee!!!!
-
Bugs bounce back and take the lead!
-
single digit games left...last game of our home stand. Every game counts now and we start the game down 11-3.

@Jackie Lee thanks for the post with the link in it. I had forgotten about the PC and was able to catch most of it. appreciate it!

yep, in the first quarter, they were shooting wide open 3s...now a good bit of that was them getting rebounds and shooting so far we couldn't get to them in time, but they were hitting them, so give them some credit. we were getting some open 3s too, but only Melo was hitting them. Bad decisions by PJ among others on some quick shots.
-
37 - 20 .....we must have ate a bad pizza before the game
-
ugly start....they are slamming and shooting well beyond the arc, bugs are dribbling off their shoes and have thrown enough bad passes for the entire game, and there is 3 minutes left in the first. down by 12

Defensively, tied for 3rd in spg (8.8), 2nd in opp. TOs (15.6) and 1st in points off TOs (21.8).
-
damn....we won on a defensive play. didn't see that coming
-
a team that wants to be in the playoffs does not lose with less than a minute and a 1 point lead with the ball.
-
Cody!
-
yep, he'll need at least 3 to 4 games to get his shot back and we probably can't get through that time without getting eliminated.
-
i read he won't be back in the regular season...guess there is a chance if we make the playoffs
-
and it's Melo that gets hot...3 3s in the first four minutes of the half. and as Eric has laughingly pointed out, Plumee made 3 straight fts with his new left handed shot. better than before
-
not the best start to the half. someone is going to have to get hot, we've got to make better passes, and we have to get back to defense
