  1. Ari Meirov @MySportsUpdate · 3h There are more undrafted free agents in the Hall of Fame than No. 1 overall picks, No. 2 overall, No. 3 overall, No. 4 overall, etc. It's not about where you start. It's how you finish. Some hope for the players who will go undrafted today...
  2. No defensive back has ever run a faster 40-yard dash at the combine than Barnes' 4.23. He quickly recovers when he gets caught out of phase and closes well breaking on balls in front of him. He's tight and can lose his balance when forced to flip his hips, though. He has good length and tracks the ball well, but he's lean and loses at the catch point a little too much. He does an adequate job of wrapping low in run support. -- Steve Muench
  3. Joe Person @josephperson · 7m Panthers take Va. Tech edge Amare' Barno at 189. Was projected as a fourth-round pick, slid to the sixth.
  4. 189 and 199 = 24.4 [points on the trade value chart equal value trade starts at Las Vegas at pick 21 of the fifth round.
  5. Joe Person @josephperson · 37s Brandon Smith was unaware that Matt Rhule played LB at Penn State. But he shouted out Yetur Gross-Matos, who he said has been put in a good position with Carolina and expects the same for himself.
  6. Justin M @JustinM_NFL · 8m Brandon Smith (6-3, 250) ran 4.52, leaped a 37.5 inch VJ & 128 inch BJ. Teams bet on athletic traits. #Panthers fans, get familiar with your new rare athletic LB @brand0n_smith12 via my @TheDraftNetwork profile.
  7. Zack Cox @ZackCoxNESN Super-athletic former five-star recruit. Carolina must have thought the Patriots might grab him. New England now on the clock
  8. Seth Walder @SethWalder · 7m Carolina receives: 120, 189 Washington receives: 144, 149 This trade is almost even according to our draft pick values.
  9. I'm all for this kind of trade...chances of a 4th rounder contributing (or even making the team) are much higher than a 6th rounder.
  10. he was rated much higher heading into the season, never heard why he started moving down the boards. Kiper or someone just said something about giving full effort all the time.
  11. Doug Kyed @DougKyed · 4m The #Panthers just traded up above the Patriots to No. 120 overall. The Panthers traded picks 144 and 149 to the Commanders for picks 120 and 189.
  12. fairly sure he bombed his stock with crazy talk in interviews, but it may have been another player.
  13. Natalie Miller @Nat_NFLDraft · 1m Potential Panther targets this afternoon: Amare Barno Tariq Woolen Smoke Monday Zyon McCollum Isaiah Likely Rasheed Walker Isaiah Thomas Josh Johnson Khalil Shakir Kingsley Enagbare
  14. some I hope make it our pick. C Tom Zach LB Mike Rose DT Farrell G Salyer DL Garret C Wattenberg Edge Luketa Edge Thomas G Munford S Smoke Monday S Mckinley LB Sanborn LB Clark Edge Engbare LB Smith
  15. Natalie Miller @Nat_NFLDraft · 1m Replying to @Johnyd55 I know they like Tariq Woolen and Amare Barno who are still on the board. Look for one of those two if they make it to them.
  16. OL, hopefully a center who can start next year. LB, Safety. Good value at DT on a couple of guys, don't think they'll last till the fifth though.
  17. Bucs will need a QB within 2 years, maybe one. Willis is perfect for them...learn under the goat and then take over.
  18. Huge run on WR's helped us last night. Need that run to continue early in the second to make Robby more appealing. WR is a high priority position, and the contracts over the last 2 years show it. Teams with QBs that are getting paid are trying to balance both positions, and it seems teams are tired of dealing with high paid divas. There's a possibility Robby could have more value than we think by the middle of the second round tonight.
  19. Luke Easterling @LukeEasterling · 5m Report: Bucs getting trade calls for No. 33 overall pick
  20. Natalie Miller @Nat_NFLDraft · 1h Not that this is shocking or anything, but Carolina will almost certainly explore a trade up into the 2nd or 3rd rounds to nab one of these QBs. They like Corral, WIllis, Ridder, and Howell, so their options are open.
  21. Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 1h Raiders declined the fifth-year contract options on all three former 2019 first-round draft picks, DE Clelin Ferrell, RB Josh Jacobs and S Johnathan Abram.
