Heading into OTAs today - whatcha interested in?
Captain Morgan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 22m Robby Anderson is once again missing from voluntary OTAs. Others who missed last week, including Daviyon Nixon and Bravvion Nixon, have returned. -
covered mainly Hornets and NBA but did some Panthers and NFL as well. 63 years old Jonathan M Alexander @jonmalexander · 14m An extremely sad day at the Observer for me and my colleagues. Rick Bonnell was a beautiful person, who went out of his way to help me out. For that, I’ll forever be grateful and will miss him.

large part of this problem was cap space. As bad as Hurney was at drafting after the first round, he was even worse at giving out contracts, which led to our inability to keep players like Josh Norman. Obviously, when you draft as hideously as Hurney, there's not a lot of guys you want to resign any way. Now look at all our cap space moving forward, with tons of young talent we'll be able to keep in the future. So grateful for the new regime.

The Hornets won the coin toss with the Spurs for the 11th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. The two teams finished with the same record, so a coin toss was used to determine who would pick first. Both teams will share the same lottery odds, but if neither team moves up to the top four, the Hornets will pick 11th, and the Spurs will pick 12th. LaMelo Ball is releasing 500 NFTs before the Rookie of the Year announcement. The NFTs will be updated with his Rookie of the Year award if and when he wins it. If you want to get in on the ground floor of the LaMelo Ball NFT game, now is your chance. The Hornets could have eyes on Daniel Theis in free agency. Theis is coming off a down year with the Bulls, but he’s a solid big, especially on the defense end. Plus he’d be another piece as the Hornets try to recreate the 2018-19 Celtics roster. https://www.atthehive.com/2021/5/30/22461096/charlotte-hornets-news-and-notes-james-borrego-lamelo-ball-2021-nba-draft-order

Outside of Jim Brown, Earl was probably the only RB that defenders were afraid to tackle.

don't know which news today makes me happier, our cap freedom, or the Saints fans realizing there is no more road to kick the can down. -

has my link been updated since posted? It now shows all 3 with their cap hits, with Paradis combining his dead cap of two years of 4 both being counted next year for a hit of 8, for 53 million of cap space. Are you using spotrac? -

wow, looking at our contracted players next year, we've finally cut the fat off. Only one bad contract left, and that's Shaq. We can cut up post June 1 and save 12 million if we want to. This has been a long time coming. A loooooong time. https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/carolina-panthers/- 24 replies

Panthers right now would have about 58 million, somewhere around 8th best in the league. -
Dan Graziano @DanGrazianoESPN · 50m Per source, the NFL and the NFLPA have agreed to a salary cap ceiling of $208.2 million for the 2022 season. If it gets there, that would be a 14 percent increase over the 2021 cap of $182.5 million. (more) Field Yates @FieldYates · 43m All teams are looking for as much cap space as possible, including those already heavy on the books. 6 teams already have cap commitments north of $200M for 2022, via @Jason_OTC : 1. Packers: $237M 2. Cowboys: $228M 3. Rams: $212M 4. Saints: $208M 5. Giants: $202M 6. Bills: $201M
