good replacement for Curtis, at a lower round draft pick than Curtis was as a high second.

Deshaun WATSON Officially Requests Trade from Texans
Captain Morgan replied to ncstatekwi's topic in Carolina Panthers
from the aforementioned Barnwell article... 2. Carolina Panthers Panthers send: Eighth and 39th overall picks in 2021, 2022 first-round pick, 2023 first-round pick, QB Teddy Bridgewater Texans send: 2022 third-round pick, 2023 fourth-round pick, QB Deshaun Watson The Panthers probably aren't in position to get the quarterback of their dreams at No. 8, which means they'll either need to trade up a few spots or make a massive deal for Watson. This would be a dramatic move for Matt Rhule and new general manager Scott Fitterer, but Carolina was frustrated with Bridgewater by the end of the season and might be inclined to swap draft capital for a long-term solution at the most important position in sports. The Panthers would send their next three first-round picks and a second-rounder to the Texans, who also would get a year of Bridgewater at $18 million before having to decide whether to move ahead with him in 2022 for $21 million. https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/30783236/17-deshaun-watson-trade-proposals-ranked-least-likely-most-likely-happen-2021-nfl-offseason -
I'm not used to being able to watch NBA games I care about. These wild point swings are frustrating.

well that big lead sure evaporated fast.
-
Hornets had a 30-15 lead with a minute to go in the first, but lead 30-19 after 1. Hornets shooting 43% from the floor, and 36% from 3. Orlando shooting 26% from the floor and 27 % from 3. Playing with energy and charisma again, fun to watch.

Gordon on fire tonight
-
Orlando shot almost 45% from 3 last night. We need to do better than that tonight. Really would love to see the crispy passing and multiple guys hitting from outside like we did in our short winning streak.

some of the guys I'm excited for Rhule to coach this week: DBs Hamsah Nasirildeen and Jacoby Stevens DL Marvin Wilson and Marlon Tuilpulotu LB Paddy Fisher, Monty Rice and Charles Snowden OL (all of them but especially ) Drake Jackson, Trey Smith, Alaric Jackson, Ben Cleveland Deonte Brown, Jack Anderson and Alex Leatherwood QB Kyle Trask RBs Kylin Hill and Elijah Mitchell TE Noah Grey WRs Marquez Stevenson, Shi Smith, Kadarius Toney, Trevon Grimes, and Amari Rodgers. Really wish Matt could coach these guys on the opposite roster. DB Devine Deablo Rodarius Williams DL Levi Onwuzuike LB Baron Browning Tuff Borland Chazz Surratt and Tony Fields OT Dillon Radunz OL Creed Humphrey WR Nico Collins Sage Surratt. I could make a good draft for the Panthers from just those guys.

Hornets toughed one out. Good sign for a young team. Keep pounding.

from the Darnold thread down the page a bit. Austin Gayle @PFF_AustinGayle · Jan 15 Lowest % of accurate passes thrown from a clean pocket in 2020, per @PFF : 26. Drew Lock (60%) 27. Nick Mullens (59%) 28. Gardner Minshew (59%) 29. Matt Stafford (58%) 30. Sam Darnold (56%) 31. Mitch Trubisky (54%) 32. Carson Wentz (51%) I suppose he could do better here. Just like Darnold. We're officially in quarterback hell.

Nasirildeen is an interesting player...6' 4'' as a safety. If he's got NFL speed I can see Rhule falling in love with him. Such an interesting player to move around the field....can cover TE's and big receivers. I've seen grades on him from Day 1 to Day 3.

can't get over the hump. need someone to step up, like the well paid veteran Gordon.
-
Hornets don't look as fluid tonight.
-
Graham on fire....and Cody is in the game.

seems like a month since we played...back in action tonight. Bulls come to town tonight. They are on a two game win streak. Can't wait to see Ball in action again.

Bill Voth @PanthersBill · 28m Matt Rhule, on his virtual presser, about the Panthers interviewing FIFTEEN candidates: I thought it was brilliant. For a first-year NFL coach, for a third-year owner to talk to people who work for all those teams? I would have paid for it. Jonathan M Alexander @jonmalexander · 26m Matt Rhule says he doesn't want to comment on any specific players. "Each and everyday we have to find a way to get better and improve the roster...I think we're going to continue to try to churn." Jonathan M Alexander @jonmalexander · 22m Matt Rhule says anything can happen as far as Joe Brady getting a job. But if he is in fact back: "I'm excited to have him back next year." @jonmalexander · 27m Matt Rhule said he was really happy for the assistant coaches that go jobs elsewhere. He wanted them back. But he was happy for them.

both Surratt brothers are excellent athletes with good height for the positions they play. I'd be happy with either or both in the appropriate rounds.
