reminder...one week from today is a workout day. Some teams have players who have said that won't attend theirs, but I haven't seen anything about any Panthers not coming. Hopefully we'll get a little more news next week than we got from rookie camp.

The Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, and Indiana Pacers are all tied at 33-38 for the Eastern Conference’s No. 8, No. 9, and No. 10 seeds. With only one regular season game left, today’s matchup against the Wizards could ultimately determine if the Hornets make the playoffs or not. Charlotte holds the tiebreaker over both the Wizards and Pacers. A win today would cement the Hornets as the No. 8 seed. This is massively important in light of the NBA’s new play-in approach where the No. 7 through No. 10 seeds will face off to determine who makes the playoffs. PJ looked good earlier this year but he's been in a funk. 0-6 so far today

Devonte and Miles come off the bench and are on fire...start of the 4th they already have combined for 48...and Hornets have the lead in the early 4th!

at one point the Hornets were 6-19 within 4 feet. Can't win missing that many close ones.

welp, down by 13.. Hornets are 2-10 from 3. Missed too many layups as well. Miles is back and looking good though. Pacers down by 8 to the Lakers.

I don't know anything about the protocol, but I hope he was able to keep working out. His shot may be off for a few games, but maybe he could at least shoot during his time away.

the best we can hope for is advance out of the play-ins, get as much playoff experience for this young team, and as many wins as possible to get some confidence. Then on to next year with a taste of what it takes to win in the playoffs in the NBA.
