We are Carl's Stone Cold Lock of the Week. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:14117679

Think Rivera wants to see this team play well for all 4Q. See us trying to do that here vs the Titans and make a statement per se. This could get ugly.
-
This offense is going to lose us games against better teams.

Why the hell did we punt? I really don't get RR

I mean PFF says take their grades with context and grades across positions are not equal. How you interpret is more important than just seeing/using it.
-
Why am I seeing Alshon Jeffery trade posts? Their GM would be fired the next day if he made that trade. Would be nonsensical to trade him. Still on rookie deal and their #1 WR. He's a building block for a team that is clearly starting(or have to) rebuild for the future.

So many QB gurus in this thread. LOL regular season is truly back.

Gronk wasn't playing though. Neither was Edelman.

CAP is beasting.

Bottom Panthers PFF Performers - Preseason Week 1
Ken replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
They don't claim to be either. I always find these threads hilarious because moat people's misconceptions about PFF are pretty funny. Not even hard to find/figure out how their grading works and how to actually apply it(context). -
I think he beat out Brockel. Brockel is not good. Has to be a coaches favorite.

REPORT: SS Swearinger claimed by Bucs on waivers
Ken replied to @bobbyagnese's topic in Carolina Panthers
Does it really matter if we get him? He's a below average player. Yes I know it's gonna be his 3rd season but he hasn't really improved much so far. -
Brockell is not that great to be honest. If Lee makes the roster, that's who he'll replace. No way it's Tolbert.

As others mentioned Frank Alexander is the big wild card. If he is able to put it all together and stay out of trouble, we should have a really good rotation at DE. If not.... One injury and things could get iffy real quick. Need Frank to step up. Ealy still needs a year to develop IMO.

Um no. He ran a variety of routes in college. Not just go's and curls. He showed on tape that he is a crisp route runner and is great/explosive in and out of his cuts. He's known to be smart, a hard worker and is basically pro ready. He was limited by the system Miami ran and poor QB play in his senior year... still put up 800+ yards and 10TDs. Injured as a junior. As a sophomore he had 58 catches for 842 yards and four touchdowns. Dude is a stud and is a perfect compliment to KB and great fit for our offense. Clearly you haven't really watched/read up on Dorsett so I probably just wasted my time typing that out.

Update: Charles Tillman signed by Panthers (official)
Ken replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
0 problems with it. Adds depth and experience. -
Agreed. Dorsett would be a perfect fit for us. He can play slot or as the Z for us. Really hope we draft him.
-
Hoping some players rise late so he falls to the Panthers in the 2nd....
-
Really, really like Dorsett but don't see him as a 1st for us. If he is somehow there in the 2nd, can't imagine anyone else being the BPA. Elite speed, polished route runner, willing blocker and showed much improved hands in his senior year. Not really a run zone threat but can go up and get it as well. Not afraid to be physical with the ball in or out his hands. Of course his height and frame is the main knock on him(why I think he's more of a day 2 guy), but would be such a nice piece to our offense as we have Olsen and KB for the more physical type catching/plays. Honestly if he slips in the 2nd I'm pro trading up a couple spots for him.

Lmao. I was surprised that people here were expecting anything more than this. -
Perriman in the 1st? No way. Poor hands, meh route running, iffy technique. Not a fan... for a 1st rounder anyway. I'm on board in the 2nd. Not sure why people are citing KB when he was a much better prospect. People kept saying KB was "raw" when his college tape said otherwise(ran a lot of pro routes). And KB's drops were almost all concentration problems. A fast 40 at a pro day won't suddenly make him a better prospect imo. "Game is not played in underwear"
