  1. Will be fun I'm sure but London is one of two Alpha++ cities in the world, based on a variety of factors. CLT is a Gamma+ city. Jax is merely a "sufficiency city". No contest. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_city
  2. To clarify, I hate NFL London but it's reality. I'd fight someone if it was our home game, but it wouldn't be. Logically it should be us and the Jags instead of the Bils.
  3. I wish this was the London game. Makes zero sense to choose a smaller market, AFC team, and less exciting team in the Bills to play the Jags there. Our expansion red haired step brother and us should be playing across the pond.
  4. 3 sacks in his last 3 games. I'll take a sack a game in 2015. That'll work.
  5. Not sure what else Bene could do. Could have been PI on either side, but just a great and/or lucky one handed catch and play.
  6. Awesome, and IMO takes away the risk/temptation to go CB super early in the draft.
  7. No, no they don't. They gave up over 400 yards to Ryan Lindley at home a week before we set a playoff record against him. And that was before the complete unmitigated disaster that has been their offseason.
  8. NSFW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJ7_88tsppg
  9. Luckiest man in the business. Lucks into Jim Kelly because the USFL folded and lucks into the #1 pick/Peyton Manning. These lottery tickets have given he and his family every reason to be happy and gay and for some reason cause for some to give credence to what he says. He's a bitter old fool.
  10. Make no mistake, the NFL took our Lombardi. With him we win it IMHO. Bitter every time I think about it. But we knew it was a one year thing. We have a grander plan long term.
  11. Get a d@mn grip folks. I'll miss him but he wasn't coming back this year regardless, and he very well may not be worth the risk. I know he practically lived at the Ballantyne Hotel this fall throwing away money like a drunken sailor, and that's what little I know. He's got a screw lose and we'll spend his money on other quality players. The Seahawks absolutely nailed the 2010-2012 drafts...before we hired GMan. What were THEIR fans saying when they went 7-9 and 3rd in the West in 2011? As good as Wilson and Wagner are no way in hades I'd trade for Cam and Luke. KB, Star, KK, Kony, Trai, Bene, et al are all young studs they'd die to have. RIGHT NOW we're right on their heels and may just knock the door down in a big way this year. Next year however after two more GMan drafts and $70 million in cap space, I guarand@mntee we will.
  12. Why would someone leave, especially if they are from here, when there are 15 million people in the Carolinas and 7+ million within 100 miles of CLT? That's often missed when discussing the Charlotte "metro" which only lists 2+ million people.
  13. Replace Star with Kyle Love and take away 10% of our cap/franchise DE, and suddenly a game of inches becomes a game of many inches.
  14. We were the 3rd best team in football in 2013, his 1st year, and coulda/shoulda/woulda been the best if DeAngelo doesn't fumble. Also beat the 2nd best on the road. And division champs last year without 10% of the cap.
  15. We had 11 more first downs, 11 more minutes with the football, and 142 more total yards than the Vikings. We just allowed them to do something twice in a game that only happened two other times since 1920. Certainly a part of the game the FO seems eager to fix. We were pretty awful in spurts and had some stinkers (PITT, @BAL, @GB, @PHI) but we also played without 10% of our salary cap and were preparing for the future, unlike the Saints who we smoked and were preparing for...?
  16. Irsay is such a clown. He was boasting about what a monster they were creating after giving up a 1st that could have been spent on Kelvin Benjamin on Trent Ricardson. Grigson is either a puppet, a d@mn fool, or both.
  17. Risky. We've been blessed before but I don't know. Don't disagree he's a first round talent and likely wouldn't last until 57 with a good diagnosis, but even I wouldn't feel comfortable enough pulling the trigger at 25. Not to mention he's more of a RT than LT.
  18. Not only would I bet $100 that we'll take in the first, but Ogbuehi @57 makes sense too. He was #1 overall on many mocks before the start of the season, met with us at the combine, and GMan even mentioned him at our end of the year presser. He can also recover from injury without the need to play from day 1. Humphries (et al), Oher, Remmers, Ogbuehi.
