  1. Same 3 teams that most "experts" had us finishing behind before the year, much less before losing 10% of our cap over political face saving bullchit.
  2. Sigh. Life is too short to spend too much time with this one but in GMan's first year if DeAngelo doesn't fumble we're the #1 seed and best team in football. We beat the Giants 38-0. Last year we didn't have 10% of our cap for 17 games and our 2013 first round pick against the NFC champs and competed well into the 4th in the divisional round. We're already a helluva lot better on paper than one calendar year ago at this time.
  3. Good. 3rd rounder, 2nd rounder, whatever, if we like the guy to protect our franchise, it's worth it.
  4. But Marc James implied GMan was a fool for not taking Morgan Moses. I just don't know what to believe.
  5. Would be disappointing. I love thinking long term too but I want to win the Super Bowl this year too and there's no reason to think we won't be playing again in January. To gain ground on the Packers and Seahawks we need immediate impact from 25 overall.
  6. IMHO Oher and Remmers are stop gappers at best!
  7. Doubtful IMO due to the primetime TV spectacle that is the 1st round. I would LOVE it but more realistically I'm hoping/expecting a 2nd rounder based on legit sources.
  8. LOVE it!! I was an advocate last year and his college coach who should know, Harbaugh, thought enough of him to bring him in. Being dumped by the disasters in Miami and San Fran is not a death knell for a CHEAP 25 year old with a ton of potential!! We desperately needed another OT and the value in this signing is far more than overpaying for another vet nobody.
  9. Again, they crushed the 2010-2012 drafts but their last two have been doodoo. They have no first this year and are at the bottom of every other round.
  10. Many wanted him when we appeared destined to pick in the top 10, and even thought he'd be out of reach there. I'd feel much better taking him if our FA would have packed more punch offensively.
  11. Two more bricks in the Taj Mahal, otherwise known as the greatest dynasty of the salary cap era, your Carolina Panthers over the next decade+. Can't wait to see what the GENIUS does.
  12. Any influence he had on Hardy not playing directly impacted an acquitted man helping he and the Carolinas win the Lombardi he nor we have ever had. What a golden opportunity under Cam's rookie deal lost.
  13. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2015/03/21/mock-draft-free-agency-jameis-winston-amari-cooper/25133447/ I love this latest mock from USA Today. Not only do we pick Humphries but Collins, Peat, and Clemmings are available and Flowers was taken at a pick within striking distance of a trade that would be above completely absurd if that's who we really wanted to protect our franchise. Options appear on the table for ALL in this mock.
  14. Yep. Not that we would cave, but sounds like we still have some leverage.
  15. Sounds like the Dolphins may not sign anyone until after the draft. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/fl-dolphins-free-agency-0323-20150322-story.html

  17. You have GOT to be kidding me. There's a reason he fell down the draft last year like a slippy slide, and it took the same fool that we've taken advantage of, the same FOOL that took Christian Ponder, Rick Spielman, to trade back up and take him. Everything about Teddy as a football player is inferior to Cam. What a joke!
  18. Disagree. Turner is an overrated turd and hasn't done diddly poo in a long time. The difference in Newton (think Gladiator) and Bridgewater (think Diff'rent Strokes) is far more significant. JMO.
  19. Dats what I'm talking about. And OT in the 1st.
  20. Disagree about rather having Crabtree. Would rather have Jennings.
