Football may have the most lax Hall of Fame standards of the major pro sports-Jim Kelly and Peyton Manning will get you in. The man was fired from his last GM job. FYI I'm a Tennessee alum and recruiting nut and have likely been following Moore longer than you. I remember UT only offering Moore to get his more highly regarded teammate, a bust named Lennon Creer. I like Moore. And Cam, obviously, has the best resume and skill set of a 25 year old in team sports history, and has yet to reach his prime or even close to it.

Says the guy (Polian) who said RG3 and/or Tannehill was better than Cam. Bill Polian sucks. Got Jim Kelly because the USFL folded and lucked into the #1 pick/Peyton Manning. That's Bill Polian in a nutshell. Bitter old fool to boot. Why does ANYONE, much less Panther fans, care what he thinks?

2017?! Did you watch him this year? Once it goes it goes fast. He always had water pistol for an arm but he went from nerf brand to the generic Right Aid plastic crap last year. 2017 sounds like "Alice" in Wonderland type stuff. -
Panthers Hoping To Sign Oher and Ginn Before Tuesday
ctrcat replied to rscott94's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ginn was hot garbage or the QBs attempting to throw him the ball were hot garbage? Who were they? -
I wouldn't even be against an OT in the first two rounds if we don't get another in FA (which I believe we will).
-
Great signing. Low risk high reward. Anyone that knows anything knows we needed to bring in 3 OTs this offseason. Another FA and draft pick are in the fold IMO.

The only fair thing to do is this-the morning of week 2 of the 2015 NFL season, the Panthers get to whack 10% of salary off of the other 31 in ways of our choosing, while we play with a full deck, until the trophy is handed out in February 2016. There is no other fair way. The injustice of this madness should never be forgotten and our cries should never stop until we get even and justice is served.

Panthers and Cam Newton in contract talks
ctrcat replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's worth it, regardless of cost. He has the potential to be the greatest player of all time and can transcend sports, much less team history. Even that Bears fan on the youtube rant said we were a nothing franchise without him. It's true. Can't wait until the ink is dry, yours truly will cry tears of joy.- 218 replies

Early odds on next years superbowl
ctrcat replied to Leeroy Jenkins PhD's topic in Carolina Panthers
Forget yesterday, try FOUR YEARS since they would have won a single playoff game as division champs, a wild card tilt against the Lions before Alex Smith carved them up a week later for over 320 total yards and 4 TDs!!! Loco, absolute, 100% LOCO!!!!! -

They have no holes, their staff and personnel are all terrific, Loomis is a genius and if you don't believe me compare 2014 drafts with the Panthers even though they picked ahead of the Panthers, Brees did not regress, his best days are not behind him and are ahead, his contract is team friendly, they are not in cap hell, they did not have a losing record at home, they did not get lambasted at home by the back-to-back division champs and were not down 41-3, they have won more than one division title after a tainted 2009, they do not have a losing record all time to the Panthers, they do not have a losing record to the Panthers all time in New Orleans, the Panthers do not have more division titles, the Panthers did not win back-to-back titles and do not have the best young core in the division if not football, so all click your heels together three times and repeat "there's no place like home". Truth- the Saints odds are better that they'll be in LA or London before winning another division title. -
Cam, not close. Cam's ceiling is even higher at a more important position.
-
Haven't read the thread but WOW what a great result for the Panthers. Screw Seattle!!! Russ 6 rings MY @$$!!!!! Pats are tainted enough. F U Seattle!!!!!
-
Go Patriots. Cam is 1-0 against them and their legacy is already tainted. Beyond sick of the Seahawks and the garb everywhere. When, not if, we turn the tables and become even stronger over the next decade, where will these fools go?
-
Congrats, proud, and the statue can't go up fast enough. All man.

Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Did not want. Still sucks because we need depth and the pool is smaller with a big name gone. I still want one in the first, no ifs, ands, or buts.
