Bryce did have a great game. This was a back and forth shootout and Bryce wasn't the reason we fell behind. He was turnover free and made big plays when he needed to and displayed the 1 thing that can't be denied about him- the clutch gene. When he gets the ball at the beginning or middle of a game I'm terrified he's going to do something bone headedly terrible. But when he has the ball and were down and he has a chance to win it I can almost guarantee a victory. If only he could do that the rest of the game

But by year 3 we should have a foundation built, a present were happy with and a future to look forward to.

The team overall is light years better than it was 2 years ago and we have all our picks in the next draft and we're not in cap he'll. Canales playcalling is suspect and some decisions are bone headed but I legitimately wonder if some of it's a product of who's at qb. We win in spite of young and lose because of him. For every good game he has 3 or 4 absolute duds. This is not sustainable. Almost every measurable metric says he sucks. He already got 1 coach canned halfway into the season. I'm willing to give Canales a longer leash bc I want to see what he can do with an actual nfl qb

There are a few things about Bryce that after 2.5 years in the NFL that are true. Is he tough? Hell yeh Is he clutch? Most definitely Is he a good kid? For sure Now is he a good nfl long term qb ? Tbd Given all of his mostly physical faults he is an easy kid to root for.
