  1. One thing you can say for Morgan is that when he sees a big weakness he attacks it in the offseason. First year was ol. Last year was d line. This year was 2nd level d. They haven't always worked but at least he doesn't just sit on his hands and pray that it gets better.
  2. There's going to be some cuts and a lot of restructures Hopefully they can trade ashawn and dalton
  3. Just an honest question. How bad would it be to have 2 ss? Who was our last fs that was any good? How different really are fs and ss? Outside looking in, ransom flashed and was a thumper tone setter. I'd be fine ransom and moehrig roaming the back end
  4. This one worries me. Good talent. Great motor. But not too impressive stats and a plethora of injuries and the best ability is availability and they just threw a ton of money at him a lot guaranteed. If he plays 14 plus games each year then great but if he gets a major injury... We have $55 mill tied up in 2 injury prone defensive players
  5. I was looking at Lloyd's stats and nothing really blew me away. A few good games here and there but definitely not worth paying top.dollar for IMHO. I only saw a handful of jags games and while he was solid I didn't see him dominate a game a la Morgan, beaston, td or kuechly. Imo we be paying top dollar for a solid lb But not one that can take over a game
  6. Bills get dj moore and a 5th Da bears get a 2nd. Bears got a good deal for someone who was already being phased out
  7. Is there any other kind worth mentioning? I know this is an expert cock draft but the amateur ones are just as interesting
  8. We had the same debate over burns and we all saw how that went. Horn is a great player no doubt. As a shutdown man corner he can be and has been elite. But.... He has a lengthy injury history from a variety of different injuries. The cb is definitely devalued in everos scheme and oc's can easily scheme away from horn. His play wasn't as elite last year. And he's not a great tackler. Any potential haul remains to be seen but if it's burns level you learn from history and pull the trigger
  9. This is good on many accounts. We've talked about his game management skills and being overwhelmed trying to do too much. We've talked about his inconsistent offense and how maybe it would be better if someone else was the oc. We also saw how bad idziks offense was in the preseason. This move along with bevels hire addresses all of this. They know they can't back into the playoffs with a losing record again. They are actively trying to improve. Will it work? TBD. But they are definitely trying and seem to have a plan
  10. And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
  11. Has trading future picks to move up in the draft ever worked out for the panthers?
  12. Bryce is an easy guy to root for. It's easy to hate him for playing terribly but there are 0 reasons to dislike him as a person I still hope he turns into that dude but I also hope we bring in some competition
  13. After being in hell for years purgatory is an upgrade
  14. I will never tire of seeing us draft not towards the top of the draft. And not bc of a bad trade
  15. Can we trade him for mcconkey instead?
  16. I say pass. Keep building through the draft. Sign your own studs. Throw some fa money to fill major holes but don't break the bank
  17. I posted this in another thread but it's relevant here Stroud is not a bad guy. He had a great rookie season but he hasn't been the same since. And the last 2 weeks he has completely imploded and just looks beaten. The defense has carried that team. Young had one of the worst rookie seasons in one of the worst environments in recent memory. Last year we also had a record breaking bad def. He has improved and in his lone playoff game he had one of the best games of the season. Year 1 it was stroud no doubt over young Year 2 it was still stroud miles ahead but young was getting better after the benching Year 3 it might be a tie- after the playoffs Bryce might be in the lead. I am not rooting against stroud, in fact I've been rooting for him. I want both to succeed. But stroud is seeing ghosts and as of right now if I had to choose between all the qbs chosen in that draft.... Bryce would be my #1 ( but definitely not by a landslide- he still has tons to prove and 2 years to do it)
  18. I would rather have Caleb, dj moore and a 1st
  19. Those 2 will be inextricably tied together for their careers because of the draft. And I did say Bryce is better than every other qb in the 2023 draft. And he's imo better than every qb in the 2022 draft sans Purdy ( who was terrible last night)

  21. Well we did better vs the Seahawks than the 49ers did
