  1. Agreed. He is no shape or form a top 5 or even top 10 qb right now. But he is now IMHO a legit starter, he's improving, and his weapons right now are not that good. He still has room for growth but I do see more Bama Bryce coming out. Last year I was happy with young or stroud. I didn't want ar and I really didn't want Levi's. Stroud obviously lit it up but I'm rooting for our young guy, would love to see him succeed and if he continues to put it together and our weapons improve he can be a top 10 qb.
  2. I think the proof is in the pudding. We are getting better. So the meddling has indeed stopped. For now.
  3. It's always darkest before the dawn But culture and camaraderie can't be underestimated. I dunno how many dream teams, big free agent signees, and just totally loaded teams ive seen completely implode bc of the clash of personalities and lack of of buy in and leadership talent is great but leadership is just as important
  4. On the plus side his route running has improved and he's getting open. But his catching still rates as atrocious
  5. Exactly. I don't think hunter or tmac will be available at 32... ( I don't think were mathematically eliminated yet)
  6. And if our pass catcher x learns how to catch passes
  7. As long as we stay away from offensive skill players in the 2nd were good. But draft another wr or rb in the 2nd and you might as well immediately write them off
  8. I am hopeful x will turn it around. He has one glaring negative and since it is his hands it is a doozy. But he has worked on his route running, he has some speed and he has been getting open. Hands are fixable ( see Hubbard, chuba) but he has to put in the work. if he actually starts catching the ball and works on his physicality I do legitimately think he can be an 1,100 and 8 td wr. Brooks... sigh. I feel bad for the kid and it's not his fault but I do wish he was the cowboys problem not ours.
  9. So I guess atl, Seattle and minny have their Franchise qbs and phi and the chargers dont
  10. Brutal injury and I feel for the kid . But I agree with the others that this was a luxury pick from the start. I get what Morgan was trying to do but it was so far a swing and miss. I'm all for adding a late rounder rb maybe with a 5th but no more early picks on rb. Hopefully he comes back with a vengeance. But I'm feeling pessimistic on this front. Football is a brutal sport
  11. But but but stats! 190 yards! Only 1 td! He didn't carry my fantasy team! Stats....
  12. Even though they still need a lot of help gotta give props to the d for shutting them down
  13. If we can get those 2 for the price of 1 Higgins. Profit Injury history be damned. Then draft bpa period
  14. I will never get mad at or tired of winning. (Whenever we do) Makes the bears 2nd pick worse too
  15. The best ability is availability. And so far brooks has none of it. Thankfully we have chuba locked up but yes no more high picks on rb unless lt is in the draft
  16. I'm of the mind Higgins will be too expensive. I'd rather keep thielen, develop x, jt and Coker and draft a mid round speedster But do extend horn
  17. Agreed. Without pineros shanks and a better d were in the hunt this year. I don't see the bugs, saints or falcons getting better. I'm still hopeful x and brooks will be solid contributors but Bryce is slowly turning into the cornerstone we need. We have a ton of picks and still need a sticky handed speedster but the foundation is already there. And we get brown back next year and maybe shaq
  18. We're not the only team with questionable play calling
  19. Yeh. Bonehead move that might have cost them the game
  20. Stats lie. Kirk passes for a ton of yards but has been atrocious and single handedly losing games Hes been passing the eye test for weeks. He has been the guy I was hoping for when they drafted him Hes still an unfinished product and he needs wr that can actually recieve but I am now optimistic
  21. But he didn't, hasn't, and won't until next year at the earliest. I hope its nothing major but it didn't look good. I wish no ill on the kid, I get morgans line of thinking but so far it was a big swing and a miss
  22. Lot of people said this from the start. And so far they are right
  23. All of x's drops would make a good stat line for solid rookie wr
  24. A rod still sucks with wilson and adams. Caleb sucks with dj, odunze and Allen. Bryce is playing well with x and thielen as his top 2 and x is playing like young is throwing grenades. I wonder if there is a stat for yards and tds dropped. Young would probably be leading the league
