  1. Why can't multiple things be true at the same time? Every qb needs help. Mahomes had no elite wr and has looked pedestrian this year. Stroud had no o line and hasn't looked as good. Brees had a great o line and some stud wr. Qbs need help. Young has improved. This gives some people hope and optimism and they have found stats to quantify what they have seen with their own eyes. Some people will not like Bryce no matter what he does. He could walk on water ( why can't he run? Too short???) Turn water into wine ( ugh who likes wine. Turn it into beer short stuff) and resurrect ( psh why did he die in the first place) and they still wouldn't be happy. Some people choose optimism over misery. Some people don't. It is what it is To me Bryce has improved. I am optimistic. He has had some rough spots ( dallas) but he has bounced back and has passed the eye test. He has a great o line. He does not have an elite wr. But I am optimistic both the qb and wr will improve
  2. Let's see what he does with a full year next year with a Hopefully improved Coker, x and jt. If he puts up close to 4000, 30 with 350 and a couple tds on the ground id be more than happy
  3. Jeanty was just standing there hands on hips bored while his qb is trying to hard count them. Gotta sell it and he didn't. Not a first round guy esp with 2 fumbles already
  4. What would make me happy? Bryce shatters every qb record known to man and leads the panthers to the first of 10 superbowl wins in a row. I'd be happy
  5. Catching. Hopefully he adds catching to his tool belt
  6. There is too much crying over spilled milk here. Life is nothing but what ifs
  7. Him getting hired as a hc, us getting a comp pick, and us also getting a new dc and hopefully going back to the 4-3 is best case scenario
  8. I agree on evero. His whole tenure here I think hes been overrated. I don't think any of his defenses have been very good and this year has been historically bad. And denvers d has been great since his departure
  9. If he didn't get hurt this year he'd have back to back 1,000 yard seasons. Add his professionalism and any mentoring he's provided and he's been worth every penny.
  10. So what you're saying is that fitterer was a master talent evaluator and nailed 2 of 3 qb picks....?
  11. The greatest show on turf couldn't win with this defense. We need to be able to stop people. This defense couldn't stop a granny in a wheelchair. Draft the best defensive player available. We need them all
  12. Is it really a hot take when dozens of people have been saying the same thing for over a year?
  13. He does have a couple things working for him. He does get open, he from what I've seen has a good work ethic, he's likeable ( which makes it easy to root for him) and he's a great redzone target. But..... He can't catch the ball which is obviously essential and he has very little yac and wiggle. Will he be a chase or Jefferson? No. But like I've said before I think he can be a 1,000 and 8 td guy which is wr 1 territory but I don't he'll ever be the type to take over and dominate a game
  14. Theyre waiting until after Xmas. Then they'll fire someone
  15. But but but, higher draft picks are why we play the game! Not wins and recognition
  16. Losing is for losers. good teams find good players. Plenty of teams continually pick at the top of the draft and continue to suck. Other teams continually pick at the bottom of the draft and continue to dominate. The point is always to win the game. Enjoy the wins when they come. Otherwise why follow a team if only losing makes you happy. Go root for the white Sox then
  17. There was once a guy who stocked shelves at a grocery store who turned out pretty good. Not saying he's destined for the hof but football players can come from anywhere
  18. I will not say he looks like a franchise qb yet. But yes to me he looks better than the career back ups of the league and some of the low level starters. To me right now hes a top 20 qb with the potential to be more but hes not there yet. But I'm optimistic if he keeps improving he has the potential to be our franchise qb. The kid is night and day different from last year and the first 2 games of this year. Now hes fun to watch
  19. Has Bryce lit the world on fire? No Has he improved? Yes Has he elevated those around him? I'd argue yes Has he made costly mistakes? Last game for sure, this game no. Is he a finished product? No Last year he was unwatchable and terrible. He was just as bad if not worse the first 2 games of the year. I had written him off and wanted him gone. Now I am cautiously optimistic. Since his benching He looks consistently better than 1/3 of the current starting qbs. Does he need work? Yes. But so do his weapons.
  20. Chuba is not a game changer or breaker but he has become a complete back. He runs downhill and hard. He can now catch the ball. He can block. And he has a constant running motor even after getting paid. I was one of those that thought his first few years he was a jag. But he has grown and impressed me and I'm happy the panthers signed him to an extension.
  21. Apparently you don't watch football. Carr has been terrible with good weapons and his own team has been calling him out Rush is a career back up that has peaked and that team has been a train wreck all year. Anyone that would rather have those 2 over young right now would give fitterer a run for his money as worst panthers gm. Young had a horrible last game no doubt. But he bounced back with this good game and some people expect him to walk on water, solve world hunger, colonize Mars, ace the bar exam and create a 0 calorie good tasting alcoholic drink and they still wouldn't be happy. Is he a franchise qb? Jury is out on Bryce. But he could be. Carr and rush will never be
