  1. It is also impressive that he didn't have a first and also managed to snag a 2nd in next year's draft Add starter Mike Jackson, wade-Smith and crumedy who should be solid depth this was as good a draft as we can hope 10 games in. Who knows what the future holds but it looks brighter than it did this time last year. And he also got a 4th for mingo.
  2. Ladd is also their only target and gets to play with herbert who is slightly better than young. If we had herbert probably all our 3 of ours rookies have > 500 yards But the kid is good
  3. I'm sure any referee bias will improve when we play mahomes and the chiefs
  4. Newtons 4th law= " if I make poo up people will click on it"
  5. If Bryce turns into 1st 2 games Bryce then I get the move to Dalton. If not, let Bryce finish out the season to see if the growth is linear or over
  6. The panthers have tanked the past 7 years. They've technically had the #1 pick the last 2 years. Maybe it's time to try something new?
  7. I might be in the minority but I think pass rush still needs to be a top priority as i thought the pass rush was still minimal. I saw a bunch of times where jones had all day to throw but luckily he remembered that he was Daniel Jones and absolutely terrible. This won't be the case with mahomes.
  8. He did his 1 trick early and then disappeared like he always has.
  9. Yayyy! Their turd stinks more than ours! Maybe bc its fresher. In all seriousness I don't know what Chicago did to piss off the qb gods. Different players, coaches, situations, decades but same result.
  10. I dunno Bryce 2024 > Bryce 2023 O line is better Jt > Ian and tremble Leggett Coker 1/2 a season of dj > thielen mingo and Marshall Hubbard 2024 > 2023 Hubbard and miles D still sucks so a wash And 3 >2
  11. Every journey begins with a single step
  12. Everyone in the Offseason- " I just want to see some improvement " Team improves. Half the huddle - " why did they improve?!?!? Boo! Hiss! Draft picks!"
  13. Chubba " momma there goes that man" Hubbard was a stud but we need to activate brooks and alleviate pressure on him The o line was great giving Bryce time and a clean pocket and paving the way for chubba Jackson was solid jewell was seemingly everywhere today We have 0 pass rush again. That needs to be addressed next draft.I'm fine with a 3rd or 4th round qb to push young. Leggett needs to stop body catching Coker was a steal
  14. I can help you. Its jones. but Bryce isn't that good either
  15. So how bad are the raiders and saints then....?
  16. Hes a 1 trick pony that got overpaid for that trick. The refusal of the rams offer will always sting ( man fitt was terrible) but he does his trick once every 2 games and disappears for the rest of the time. And he sucks at run d. He is not worth what the giants paid but I wish we got more for him
  17. I'm not tall. If I'm at a concert and anyone over 6' is in front of me I'm screwed. I'm definitely not throwing 30 yard passes through that forest
  18. And every nfl player wannabe tries to up their draft position through things like the combine and theyre all basically lying though those drills theyve practiced hundreds of times that have little bearing on if theyre a good football player. The pro days are even worse. All you have to do is dupe 1 team. Is it right? No. But until teams put more emphasis on college tape vs. What they did in shorts with no defense it'll happen every year. I doubt there is a single player that wouldn't try anything to up their draft prospects. Young had years of tape and that shouldve been what the decision was based on. Not a scale and throwing in shorts. ( btw I think the combine and pro days are 90% a waste of time) Young has it financially made already. It's up to him if he wants to be a good football player too. I think the benching was the best thing that could've happened to him. It remains to be seen if it was enough
  19. So he fudged his resume. Thats not on him for doing it( lots do in every sport) it's on the panthers for not recognizing it
  20. To play devils advocate gotta start somewhere our top 3 receiving leaders are now all rookies which sucks now but bodes well for the future People complain about letting talent walk or trading it. then people complain about paying a starter a starters wage. Yes we have decent assets tied to our rb room. But if, and it's a big if, they produce a 2nd round pick and 10 mill a year is reasonable. Double trouble cost 2 1sts and tens of millions
