If it came down to Peat or Perriman....
Toker Smurf replied to MedellinHeel's topic in Carolina Panthers
Peat, if I must but I won't have to choose between just those too, so neither. -
Like it except for Waller. Maybe in the fifth or sixth. Seems like a project, rather get someone in the fourth who can contribute sooner. I'm fine with Dlineman in the first two rounds.
-
Not saying he's wrong but Mitchell and Cap played behind a line with Greg Hardy, the season before getting paid.

This is what I was thinking. Don't want to have to rely on Foucalt, if Oher goes down.

Panthers veteran players that may be on the bubble
Toker Smurf replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agree with all, even Tolbert. I'm always tempted to grab Jalston Fowler in the 6th or 7th when mock drafting. -
The Great Pie Debate - Offseason 2015 Edition
Toker Smurf replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
This thread is a mistake. The wonder of pie comes from the unity between the crust and the filling. Separate them, you have ingredients but together, they make PIE! -
Hopefully they add these to the simulator tomorrow (I had been trading our 2nd to Packers for their 2nd, 5th and 6th).

Alan "Blue Balls" Ball leaves Panther offer on table
Toker Smurf replied to CubsWin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder why its only a 1 year deal. Makes me nervous, if he turns out good, he and Norman will both be free agents. -
Todd Gurley to visit with the Panthers
Toker Smurf replied to TylerVagyler's topic in Carolina Panthers
Per David Newton The Panthers were scheduled to work out Gurley’s teammate, wide receiver Chris Conley, later on Wednesday in Athens. Conley opened a lot of eyes at the NFL combine when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds, but he’s not expected to be a first-round pick. http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=carolina-panthers&i=TWT&id=12724&w=1eyu2 -
Hardy to choose between Cowboys and Bucs
Toker Smurf replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just said on NFL Insiders (ESPN) that the Bucs are no longer pursuing Hardy and its "not contract related". -
Everyone keeps saying its a good fit. Are they just copying? Yeah because he is the type of 'power' runner they are used to.

The reason Cam isn't in a hurry to sign a contract
Toker Smurf replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe. There were reports we were negotiating though, a while back. I understand those guys are around the same age but other top QBs have signed new deals this year and last. I think they have a pretty good idea of what the market is and what the cap will be. I don't think that's an issue at all, at least from the clubs side at this point. In my opinion, there is only downside to waiting for those guys to set the market, again from the clubs side. -
The reason Cam isn't in a hurry to sign a contract
Toker Smurf replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
Because they haven't offered him the amount of money he wants. -
No but I think he's just representative of our problems. He's been around for a couple of years. Fans know we've not had a strong WR corp's and Gettleman has talked repeatedly about churning the bottom of the roster. Obviously we haven't improved that group, much yet.

Ted Williams on why he chose the Panthers
Toker Smurf replied to SgtJoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hey, I didn't play football in college. Pay me $2.3m and I'll feel that family atmosphere too. -
CB Teddy Williams Signs With Panthers
Toker Smurf replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Williams is also a sprinter. While at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2009, he recorded a time of 9.90 seconds in the 100 meters at the UTEP Invitational, that ranked as the best under all conditions in school history and fastest time in the world that season. -
Why Gettleman is a GM... and you aren't.
Toker Smurf replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
You really think Gettleman is the first person to say that? -
Why Gettleman is a GM... and you aren't.
Toker Smurf replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
"I've seen plenty of teams win the Super Bowl in March; the idea is to win the Super Bowl in February. That's the goal." - Cam El Sweet, now I can be a GM too.
