They didn’t trade up to 1 without a pretty damn good idea of who their favorite is. They’re doing their due diligence and throwing up smoke in case someone makes them a stupid return offer for #1

I can say this, I won’t be as pissed if this current plan and regime fail. Because at least they gave it a grade A effort. They brought in guys who’ve had lots of experience and success on the coaching staff. I can’t say the same for the previous regime. Things inevitably go wrong even with the best laid plans, but I can’t say they didn’t make good decisions on paper to get there. That’s a major improvement over the past 3 years.

I’m just watching what is happening now, compared the last 3 years, and wondering to myself how the hell David Tepper allowed Matt Rhule to coach an NFL franchise.

Dear Chicago and media…. About that first next year…..

It’s funny that Bears fans have any room to talk any form of trash about the Panthers because since the Panthers have come into existence the Bears are by far a worse team. -
Levis would probably only be good on the 49ers. Can’t recognize or feel pressure at all.

If Bryce was 6’3 he’d no doubt be the pick

He got smoked a few times especially early in the year. He’s gonna be fine, he was a rookie. His run blocking ability is insane.

Panthers to Send 11 Representatives to Ohio St Pro Day

I think they’re taking Levis. Just a hunch. Another geographically convenient player to scout for the Colts. -
I will say his Athletic content is a marked improvement over his Observer content. And I was a big Person hater back in the day. David Newton is still the king of the clowns.

Unless they straight up don’t like Stroud as a prospect for whatever reason. But again there’s other prospects from Ohio State worth checking out which makes it even more strange. The Colts barely sent anyone either. But for them I can see geographic proximity for their scouts having them already having close knowledge of the Ohio State team. -

You don’t have two long time NFL QBs on the coaching staff along with known QB whisperer Jim Caldwell and then make the decision yourself. Tepper probably just wants to see the QB they’re drafting up close after paying a heavy price to get him. -

The Texans didn’t send anyone and that’s probably all the evidence you need right there -

I seem to remember some guy named Spencer Rattler going #1 overall in mock drafts before falling off the map entirely the next season. You never know. But the Panthers probably don’t have the draft capital to get him. -
It’s so funny Person is one of the more respected beat writers for the team now because when he was with the observer he was a joke. Not David Newton levels but still.

Adam Thielen's Avg. Separation for 2022 - Ahead of Chase, Brown, Evans

I know several folks who have a fatty liver and they’re not even 40. Heading to cirrhosis territory. It’s nuts. But I live in a drinking town. -

I thought I hit a cliff at 34 but I was just drinking too much and not eating well. Amazing what cutting out alcohol, a good diet, and exercise can do -
I have to wonder if the Panthers are gonna draft 2 QBs like the 2012 Redskins.
