I wonder if the reason Steichen’s interview didn’t go well with the Panthers was that he wanted Richardson and Tepper didn’t. Who knows
-
Richardson looks good but let’s be real he’s played the jaguars and texans
-
They don’t show you what’s on your local network
-
It’s on longhorn network which is TX only I think or ESPN+ if you’re outside TX
-
Wyoming is low key good
-
None of y’all probably watching the longhorns but wtf they are def on upset alert tonight. Wyoming looking game
-
I hope it goes well but Im expecting him to play like trash and get benched at halftime
-
Keep getting pounded is more like it

I’m not interested in giving up draft capital for anyone. Throw out some young guys and see who develops. If they don’t take any chances and keep rolling with old guys trying to plug holes then we will never see any improvement in these position groups.

This really JC Horn's burner Twitter account though?

Being injury prone and derailing what would have been a promising NFL career is obviously having an impact on his mental well being. Hope he gets the help he needs and maybe starts focusing on life after football. -

Man Teddy was unhinged with some of those burners. Or should I say “Edmond” -
The key for Bryce will be staying healthy and building the team with playmakers around him. Not impressed with the team around him at the moment. Time will tell.

Tua has a cannon he gets a weird rep because he’s left handed. He was throwing absolute bombs to Tyreek Hill against the Chargers. Someone made a YouTube video flipping the screen to make it look like he is right handed and he looks like a completely different QB.
-
I would hope even the worst overreaction threads wouldn’t consider his career to be over or to be a bust after his first game but his physical limitations are not going to change and that has me the most concerned. He looked a lot like smaller Teddy Bridgewater upon first glance. Not a bad QB but also not a #1 overall QB. The team will need to elevate his supporting cast to overcome some of these limitations.

Might end up being the best pick Fitterer ever made
-
What happened to shi smith? He’s not terrible and had a little speed

I did not disagree with trading for Henderson based on what they paid. They got what they thought was a 1st round talent and a 5th round pick in exchange for a 3rd round pick and journeyman TE. I wouldn’t say they broke the bank there and Henderson is on par with the production of a 3rd rounder IMO. I still don’t think it’s a bad trade, Henderson just isn’t very good.

On topic I 100% think Scott Fitterer should be fired. He’s made made pretty significant blunders every season. Right out the gate drafting CB Horn over talent at more important positions of need, inexplicably picking up Sam Darnold’s 5th year option and saddling the team with his like $19m salary in 2022, trading picks for Matt Corral in 2022 only to see him cut in 2023 without seeing the field on the regular season. The trade for Bryce Young will either make or break his tenure though. If Young pans out, all is forgiven most likely. But the jury is obviously still out on that so we’re probably stuck with him until the end of the Frank Reich era.

These types of Referee blunders are 100% unacceptable

I think collectively as a fanbase we are less mad about the piss poor calls because the Panthers were comfortably losing this game no matter what happened, but I agree these particular calls were atrocious especially the horse collar tackle. That 100% should have been a redo of the down. -

Why Does Everyone Keep Calling This a Total Rebuild?
hepcat replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tank 4 Trevor was the real path we missed out on. They could have probably RETAINED Cam Newton and been one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2020, satisfying the fanbase and setting us up for the future. I understood why they went with Reich to develop a QB but I’ll be honest Wilks surprised the hell out of me with how well the team played late in the season. The Bucs loss is where he lost me. But we also can’t diminish what he did especially when we compare it to this seasons supposedly “all star” coaching staff. -

I agree for the most part because Steve Wilks went 6-6 with Matt Rhule’s roster and was honestly a miracle worker with what he had on the field. You’d think this highly paid “all star” coaching staff could do better than lowly old Steve Wilks. If they don’t have a better record than 7-10 then it was a mistake to not hire Wilks IMO. -
HEAVENS TO BETSY, LOOK AT THESE WIDE-OPEN RECEIVERS

Maybe everything is just bad and this team is cursed -
Except CMC was a stud with no injuries for his first 3 seasons.
