  1. Watch Bryce Young against Texas in 2022. This is a mirror image of how he looks in the pros. Alabama won the game but only because Texas QB Quinn Ewers got hurt and Texas couldn’t score. The Texas defense wasn’t good this year, but they had Bryce under pressure most of the game, and Bryce didn’t do anything until the final drive of the game. I was saying this all off-season, this was a very telling game. It showed Bryce is too short to step up in the pocket when pressured. I haven’t seen him once stand tall in the pocket and deliver a clutch throw. He either scrambles to the sidelines or throws a wounded duck. If Quinn Ewers doesn’t get hurt in this game, Texas wins easily and Bryce might have a much different season. I’m just not sure what if any game tape Bryce had out there that beat CJ Stroud’s Georgia game tape.
  2. I never wanted Bryce. But I thought with as many NFL veteran coaches the team hired, I must have missed something and was initially behind him. Bryce's game against Texas in 2022 is what really soured me on him. Alabama won the game but they really shouldn't have. Texas did not have a great defense that season, but their pass rush was harassing Bryce all game. Bryce did literally nothing in that game until the very last drive. Alabama only won the game because Quinn Ewers got hurt early in the game and Texas struggled to score. That game showed me that Bryce can't handle pressure. He is too short to step up in the pocket and make a clutch throw. He got away with his diminutive size in college because he had a lot of talent around him and the level of competition is lower, but it hasn't translated to the NFL yet and that's why everyone including the team itself is clamoring to get Bryce better WRs like he had at Alabama. I think the jury is still out on Bryce, I wouldn't go dumping him after 4 starts. But it's clear he might need to sit for a season until if/when the team is better because he's obviously not ready.
  3. So....you're saying Scott Fitterer is the problem and Hurney wasn't so bad?
  4. What planet are you living on? Tyreek Hill is going to have 400 yards on Sunday.
  5. It's close to the worst trade in NFL history if Bryce doesn't work out. If Bryce looked like he did on Sunday in this 3rd year, I'd say cut him. He's still a rookie. I'm not in the get rid of him camp just yet. I'm fully on fire Scott Fitterer if this team doesn't win a game soon though. If they lose to the Texans, Bears, and Colts....GTFO.
  6. He hates Marty Hurney so much that he has a boner for literally any other GM not named Marty Hurney
  7. During the bye week. Can’t start 0-6 after trading up to #1 and not roll some heads
  8. That’s what Bryce faced in college. He’s a bust. A promising rookie QB will make mistakes. Bruce can’t even push the ball down the field. He’s too small and weak to play in the NFL and this franchise is f*cked for at least the next 3-5 years. I hate David Tepper for ruining the Panthers and I can’t wait until I outlive him
  9. I'm ready to not have a team in Charlotte. Tepper ruined it.
  10. Too busy to watch the game today. Will check the score and maybe pop on some highlights if it looks like miraculously they might pull off a win. I’m expecting a massive blowout and calls for Reich to get fired but I think fitterer gets the axe at the bye week
  11. No way Texas gets blasted. It’ll be a good game, but OU going to make some stupid turnovers and lose it in the second half. Their QB is sloppy throwing the ball
  12. Ewers is legit and going to be a very good NFL QB
  13. I can already see his brain having a mild aneurysm when he tries to formulate an answer to that
  14. Scot is still lurking here but hasn’t posted in awhile because he is physically incapable of admitting he’s wrong. He hates Marty Hurney for some reason and thinks the “jury is still out on Fitterer” despite the fact he is already the worst GM in team history and the team has never been this bad for this long of a stretch before.
  15. His ceiling is an effective system QB like Brock Purdy if he can play for a good offensive coach like Kyle Shanahan or Sean McVay, or mid 2000s Sean Payton. I don’t dislike Bryce as a person and I think he will be in the NFL for a long career. But he won’t be a starter his entire career because he lacks the size and physical tools. A guy like him needs to be in a perfect situation to have success. He needs to have a mastermind offensive coach who is beating teams with the scheme, and/or elite weapons around him. It’s extremely unfortunate and frankly ironic the Panthers dumped a perfectly solid #1 receiver in DJ Moore who could have grown with this young QB. Scott Fitterer is the worst GM in team history and should be fired immediately. Either way I see the Panthers dumping Bryce in a few years because it’s a total and complete garbage franchise that shouldn’t exist anymore, and we see Bryce get a chance to become an effective albeit limited starter.
  16. Can’t think of a faster way to lose respect around the league that to trade major assets for the #1 overall draft pick, select a 5’9 175lb QB, then lose all your games.
  17. I think Fitterer is going to get fired but it might not be until the Bye after an 0-6 start
  18. He speaks like he knows anything about football which he clearly does not
  19. I mean it’s entirely possible he builds a MUCH cheaper MLS stadium (I expect an announcement on that way sooner than anything regarding a new Panthers stadium) and he moves the NFL franchise elsewhere.
