Big difference for Funchess from Kelvin is he won't be relied on to be the primary target. Let's face it, Cam force fed the ball to Benjamin a lot of the time because he didn't have a lot else to work with. Also, Benjamin ended up with inflated stats partly because of some blowouts the Panthers were involved in. My predictions for Fuhchess are a reasonable 40 catches for 500 yards, 5 TDs, with some spectacular catches. But, I had similar predictions for Benjamin so I hope I'm off.

Gettleman made the trade to keep the guy away from New Orleans and Atlanta, or at least I have to think so or else why did he make this trade. This was totally out of character for him.

I loved the Benjamin pick last year. I'm lukewarm on this one. Seems like a versatile player that can learn a lot from Thomas Davis but he might be a bit raw and not contribute as much as the last first round picks the Panthers have had right away.

Would also be surprised if they didn't go defense with at least one of the top 3 picks.

Awesome article, one of the best I've read on Panthers.com. Gettleman is one of the best hires the Panthers have ever made. I have no doubt he'll find another couple gems in the 2015 draft.

Cowboys have a great season on the back of a career year by Demarco Murray. He's not on the team anymore. Yea their O-Line is good but give credit to Murray too. Cowboys step back to 8-8 next year.

There's only two games on the schedule I'm pretty damn sure Carolina will lose and thats @Seattle and vs. Green Bay. After that the Panthers should be able to win every game and I'm going 14-2 because fug it we're due a baller season.

Didn't Kelvin Benjamin cancel a meeting with some team last year before the draft? I don't think it matters as long as he can play, dude. Maybe he doesn't want to play for a mediocre franchise.
